Ha! I love this chapter! I really like Gamling, he is a funny one! The characters are all fantastic, but I think my two favourites are Gamling and Afre! I look forward to reading the next chapter!

Can I be the next to punch Fugol? What a jerk! Next to the grain cellar, hahaha, hope he gets nice and sick down there!
Loved how Aefre and Gamling comforted Beornia, as I was worried about her from what you said in the last chapter. It was great how she cheered up a bit and was teasing Gamling by the end, liked how she guessed about the baby.
Sheesh, who did invite those elves to the wedding! I hope they don't ruin things. I can't wait for Eomer to find out that Gamling is getting married, and to whom. The Swan knights would seem to indicate Imrahil and maybe Lothiriel and/or some of her brothers? Well, it will be good to catch up on the news from Gondor too!
PS--I'm having surgery on the 9th so I'll be offline for a couple of weeks. I promise to catch up with this story when I get back, it's truly one of my favorites.

Great update Zee! I particularly liked the discussion between Aefre and Gamling's mom about Gamling, Eomer, and Gamling's dad. Also loved the paragraph about the Gondorians moving to Rohan, and how the wailing of all those new babies was soon to replace the wailing over the dead. It was just very nice and pointed to the future and to life.
Eomer, get yo' ass home already! They need you!
Who was Eadignes yelling over at the end? Did that Fugol try something and then Willan caught him at it and is now opening up a can of whup-ass on him?
I'm sending a big box of sprouts and little baby carrots to nourish your Eomer/Lothiriel bunny! May it grow strong and prosper and lead to a full-blown fic.

I loved this chapter, I like the way that Gamling is trying his hardest to 'pamper or rather look after' Afre! I like the way you inject humour into the story too. I am so pleased you updated! I have been looking forward to reading this chapter, and can't wait to read about their wedding! Gamlings family sounds like they are chaotic! I look forward to reading the next chapter, till then cheerio!

wow, only a couple of weeks wait this time- thats customer service for you! But you know the thing about customers is, we can never have anything fast ENOUGH- we want it now now now NOW GODAMMIT!!!!
Loved this chappie- I'm writing wedding preparations for my own story at present, and we seem to be on par with our views about the annoyance of unwanted relations!
Great cliffie- cant help wondering who Eadignes is talking about. Perhaps a jealous/overly protective Willan? He certainly would be physically capable of pounding someone into wallpaper paste, but I doubt whether his temperament is apt to it. so who else could be trying to prematurely send someone to the halls of mandos? and who might that someone be?? Bloody hell, I hope your beta returns the next chapter soon, or it'll be them saying hi to Theoden!

Yay! My christmas pressie arrived at last! And unlike most of the other stuff I got this year (mainly socks, jumpers and smellies- woo) it certainly didnt disappoint after all the anticipation!
I like the way youre building up a vivid and realistic picture of post war Rohan- people never seem to think of that sort of thing, too caught up in the euphoria of victory, and just assume that everything will go back to normal again. But the words of sam have obviously been preying on your mind, as they have been on mine; how could everything just go back to the way it was after so much bad has happened? Very good question, and one you seem intent on answering- good on you. It also fits perfectly into your story, as Aefre's capability at crisis management, and her quest to get her lands back, tie into the theme of restoration very well.
I cant wait to see how Gamling pulls that off, as well as seeing how he will EVER manage to make Aefre a proper married woman! Hope you update again soon!

Another fabulous chapter, one which I enjoyed reading immensley. I really like the way that Gamling and Afre get along, and the way that Gamling does whatever he thinks is right no matter what the consequences! - i.e. the sharing of his room! This is great, and I look forward to reading the next chapter!
