Please tell your friend, as one mother-in-perpetual-mourning to another, she has my condolences. I've lost two myself, and agree, it is a burden no parent should have to bear. I'll leave my real review at the end of the story, but had to comment this in a separate post.

I've been a silent reader of yours for years. I have a poor habit of not reviewing nearly enough, but I have to say I adore your work, I come back to your fics over and over. I've read Rider of the Mark several times now, I adore what you've done with the characters. It's been several months since an update, I'm starting to fear that it won't be completed. I do hope that you plan to continue this story, it really is beautifully written as is everything I've seen from you. So I just wanted to stop by and say hello and possibly remind you that though they may silently lurk around for years at the time there's always a reader somewhere who is positively chomping at the bit for an update, especially when waiting for a wedding night!
