Oh what a wonderful beginning. You have captured the Lorien brothers just how I envision them. Poor Haldir will have much angst ahead I fear. You have made Haldir honorable, kind, loving and kept the touch of arrogance I love so much about him. Your descriptive writing style is a joy to read and you weave a facinating plot. I see there are 4 chapters I hope that you will continue with this wonderful story.

Chapter two...Haldir...I want to shake him till his teeth rattle! He could be so happy with Mel! Orophin was only doing what he thought best. As with chapter one you very vividly portray stong emotion and even despair. Celeborn was a bastard wasn't he? I loved it! He is more than Galadriel's arm ornament. he is a powerful lord in his own right who has a realm to protect not coddle the emotional upheavals of his warriors. Well done!!!!! I do hope this has a happy ending.

Oh this is getting so frustrating....(in a good I have to read more way) Haldir is so stubborn! His father was even trying to tell him to follow his heart. Then Haldir made a foolish promise and is honor bound to keep it..AARRGGHH! The last scene with him wondering what it would be like with an ellon and then experimenting was very well done. But it ended disasterously. Oh.. I love this story too.
