I hope your wrist if OK now. I seem to have missed three chapters while I had the flu. I think I will reveiw each one separately. That won't tax my brain as much as trying to do all thrn onn one.
Poor Elrohir having to drag poor Legolas all over the mountains looking for a cave. And leaving behind a lot of things that would have come in handy. You aren't making this birth very easy for them are you, you wicked author you.
Well now they are in a cave that the Rangers have left all neat, tidy and ready for a fire. Thank goodness for small favors.
Innocent, naive Legolas, When will I know when it's coming? Trust me on this one when you are ready to take a rusty, dull kitchen knife and cut the baby out without the use of any painkiller, you are ready. This is long after you have done as much physical damage to your husband as you can do. Which isn't much since you are unable to move for very long between contractions. Actually I did just fine when it came to labor. Breast feeding was another matter entirely.
On to the next chapter. giggle

Well thank you for the chapter despite the hangover. We got six inches of snow overnight so we are staying home, cozy and ODing on hot chocolate. Sugar Free hot chocolate since we started our diet to lose our winter weight. Why we do this I don't know.
Poor Glorfindel. Sick as a dog and in such lousy conditions. Filgree was a real bright ray of sunshine, NOT. Prepare for the worst and hope for the best is about all you can do. I just hope Legolas is doing OK with Elrohir.
Thank you for getting the ending out soon. I will then go back and reread a chapter a day to keep myself ready for your next story. Have to have a Legolas fix daily you know.
This has been a wonderful read and I have enjoyed it so much. giggle

Oh, what a battle sce You You wrote this very well. I just hate Thranduil's attitude. Someone had to bow before him before he would come to the aide of his fellow elves. He should be chastised or punished in some way. I personally think of him as responsible as the orcs for the deaths of so many elves. Haldir and Legolas suffered so much because of him. I know Glorfindel almost took Elrond's head for how he caused so much trouble for Legolas and I think both Elrond and Thranduil should be made to bow down repent their foolishness.
Actually, I like stories of Thranduil being a fair and honorable king but this story is just fine with a arrogant Thranduil.
You stopped too quick with this chapter. My heart was racing and you shoved me into a screeching halt. Write more, now! Please.
Take Care,
Teri

War is Hell.
At least you don't sugar coat this by making everything peachy keen.
I am glad that there were elven armies to come to the rescue. And the King stating he wouldn't do what his father did at the Last Alliance. By working together they defeated the guy guys once again. Now we have to clear the field so that L & G's offspring can reunite what elves are left.
As soon as you finish this I will have to go back and read the whole thing from start to finish so I can get into the rythym and flow of your story.
Thank you for all your hard work. The light can be seen at the end of the tunnel. giggle
