YOu already lost my interest on the first few paragraphs. Please read "The Hobbit" carefully. There is a description of Thranduil's Hall within it. It was not a palace with watchtower and windows.

If you can follow simple canon like that, what's the point of writing fanfiction? You might as well write orginial fics instead.

I've been reading this story for weeks, and I'm absolutin lin love with it. You've managed to give depth to every character in the piece, no small feat considering there are at least a dozen to contend with. I've always been a fan of the Legolas/Glorfindel pairing, but I've rarely seen a story so well done. You're attention to detail in incredible, and you've easily mastered the art of the cliffhanger. This lateest chapter is a prime example, and while I can't wait to see who the masked individual is, I would love to wager a guess: Echthelion. The whole, "gift of the valar" and the prophecy of Legolas belonging to one of the re-born, and this nasty individual coming to "claim what is rightfully his," got me thinking along this tangent.
It only seems right that our beloved Glorfindel would have some competetion to spice things up. What's spicier than competing with his first lover for Legolas' attentions? That and it compeltely throws a loop into the story. Just hazarding a guess;) I'm inspired to keep checking back to see which path you'll venture down.

Aaagh, How can you leave us in such suspense. Please tell me that the unknown Elf is not also "reborn." That would be too much. But then why does Glorfindel respond with such shock! I would imagine that Elladan knows all the Elves mentioned in your clues, as he has not been sheltered like Legolas. Hopefully you will update soon, soon, soon, because like Glorfindel, I am have lost my breath.eat eat story, keep writing.

Although, you don't have to get Legolas and Glorfindel in bed together immediately, a scene between Erestor and Elrond would be nice... Please? Something, anything, just don't leave us this way...

Hey! No, you haven't lost me, anyway (FWIW), in regards to this story. I just oft take more time to read than review, though you are leagues ahead of many other writers for posting new chapters, so you really should be rewarded for the more you give. I can't promise to be better, but please understand that someone is appreciating and anticipating your work, regardless of what actual reviews you receive. The positive vibes are there (well, at least on my part).

Anyway, I also appreciate how you have the story somewhat scripted out and plan to finish--I find that honorable. I do hate (and sometimes that's why some stop reviewing) when a story is only written determined on how many reviews fan one's ego. I like how you are writing this story because it is *your* story and not relying on others to finish it for you.

In any case, please finish and I will see it through to its end!

My guess is a bit unlikely, but I think it is Echthelion. To me that is the only thing that makes sense seeing how Glorfindel reacted. If it was anyone else I don't think he would have fainted instead he probably would have been angry. But thinking that his 1st lover was dead and then to see him standing before him threatening not only him but Legolas, that may be enough catalyst to promote his reaction. I hope that you update soon because I love this fanfiction! The plot is awesome and it is very well written.

I think I know who it is, but I'm not going to say because someone might read this and the surprise would be ruined. But I will say that I think it is someone that Glorfindel knew intimatley...
