Captured AGAIN
As soon as I saw the title I said Oh ****. I really did. I knew this was going to happen. Having been pregnant once I know how impossible it would be to outrun a turtle much less anyone or anything else. Well my only consolation is that Glorfindel will kill them all. As many as he can catch anyway. Legolas is in big trouble again. Since when is he not in big trouble. You think they could have sent someone with him. If I were an she-I woI would have gone with him. giggle

chapter 131 I think
See I told you Glorfindel would kill them. Good. What fools these mortals be.
I knew Legolas was going to go into labor at the most inopportune time. Not that there is an opportune time to go into labor. He did it at night too, I think. That is when mos us us go into labor. This means you do not start labor with a good nights sleep. You are already sleep deprived and you haven't even had the baby yet. OK now Elrohir gets to kill all the men. If there are too many he may just knock them out or get some orcs to do it while he sneaks around and saves Legolas.
Things are getting heavy now for all concerned. Elrond is in big trouble isn't he? giggle

Elrohir the smart. That is better than Elrohir the brave. Age and treachery will win over youth and strength.
I sympathize with Legolas. Very, very, very much. I would not want to go into labor in a crude hut in the middle of nowhere. Now he has to get on a horse and go somewhere. Elrohir must be nuts to think he can even move. But move he has to to get away from the awful men.
And orcs? There are going to be orcs? Will this madness ever end? I hope not. At least not until you finish this story. giggle

Your writing is great, and I love the plot, but you need to get a beta reader. Spell check, people, spell check.

Their situation is indeed desperate with Glorfindel's plan having only a nominal chance of succeeding and no word from Lothlorien or Mirkwood. This is uncharted waters for us readers and I, for one, can only hope that reinforcements of some type will arrive soon. At the beginning of the story I thought that Legolas would be the one to unite the Elves, but now it seems it will be his child. I cannot wait to see what happens next. This has been a wonderful story and I will be sad to see it end.

I stumbled across this story a few days ago, and I've got to say that you've quite upset my schedule. I find myself leaving tasks undone in order to sit and read chapter after chapter in order to get caught up. And yes, in a matter of about three days, I have read this story from its start to where it now stands. I find myself wondering if dear Legolas will make it to the mountains in time, and safely.

Despite a fondness for Legolas, I've always found Aragorn to be my favorite character in The Professor's works. It saddens me to see the state of the men you portray. It's odd. I'm not angry with you, dear storyteller, for the way in which you portray the men. Instead, I find myelf all at one time haviope ope for that the elves will finally come together as one race...and hoping also that the men can once again recapture the splendor they had in the days men men and elves were friends.

ay..ay...I have no complaints thus far. You've done a wonderful job. Yes, the spelling and grammar are a bit choppy in places, but they do not detract from the story itself. Well done, and keep it going.

Now, if you will excuse me, *smile*, my son is VERY late for school and I'm still not dressed. What can I say? I was determined to get caught up.

And this wasn't blubber material? Poor Erestor/Elrond.

Well their backs are against the wall now so we just to to wait and see what you have in store for everyone.

The Rivendel elves are on the plains facing orcs, Legolas is ALONE heading into the mountains looking for a needle in a haystack, 'Lorien elves are on their way to Mirkwood to "help out" and who knows what Adar King is up to in Mirkwood. All the chess pieces are in order now we just have to play the war game. I'm getting butterflies in my tummy. Can't wait till Friday. giggle
