::snickers:: I found the ending rather amusing, love. Can't wait to read more of this, as always. And don't worry, once Siobhan sends me the next part of BoS, I'll be sure to give it a good revision (if it needs one) and send it back to her ASAP (that's provided I'm in town at the time; leave tomorrow, come back in a week, but it'll be done soon as I return, promise). Now, please excuse me while I attempt to finish off my own Silmarillion story (which is rather depressing when you have to research a character's death to write a proper story). Take care love! ::hugs::

Oh sad, Aidual. :(
Be dramatic and angty!
I look forward to reading both thier deaths, although I have most of it planned out for this story. Maybe I'll discover an extra bit to add in.
I write plots, long lists of what happens, then what happens next, a skeleton outlineen Ien I fill it in with the text of course, and any cute little mini-plot bits I can think of.
How do you do it?

How do I do it? Pretty much same as you.
Start with the basic main characters and decide how I want the story to flow. From there, I'll plan out how many chapters I want and give them a title and description so I remember what I wanted to write.
Then I give it a time line, getting as close to exact dates and events as I can. I'll jot down certain specific events I want to mention, then go to the texts or online and gather whatever needed information I feel I can incorporate into the story.
Next I figure out exactly which parts the slash should be placed in, where the most angsty stuff goes, where the humor is best placed, etc.
Then I'll sit down, wait for the muses to speak and then write, making up characters and such as I go.
Yeah, so tha abo about it. Got three more chapters of FF to write, then 20 diary entries (oh, thos will be fun). But Siobhan's got two chapters to beta first, and the last three chapters are gonna take a short hiatus while my muses and I catch some sun down in lovely Hawaii (we are in need of a vacation...again). So, I shall expect to read more of HotGF when I get back, and I shall endeavor to beta read BoS. I have a lo loo look forward to, don't I? ^_~

Oh yes, I don't think I mentioned this to you love. Flower and Fountain is being illustrated. Lovely artist in Japan has kindly agreed to read and illustrate Fin and Thel and their antics. Five images for the first story part have already been uploaded; part two, I am told, is on the way. My webpage is listed under my author profile; take a look if you're interested.

I plan to have a lot more up by the time you get back, then!
THAT'S SO COOL!
I feel all paternal toward FF, and I'm so proud of and happy for you!

Sure, if I remember, I'll drop you a line and after chapter 2 of BoS, we'll update together, how's that? You add to either of your stories for me, and I'll update this one. *squeak* If you need a beta, send it to me in a MSword.doc and I'll see what I can do for you.
*bounces happily* Update soon!

Yes yes, your baiting is working, love. I shall endeavor to write at least another chapter before I am off to Orlando for a week. Perhaps another two as I probably will not be able to write things from Glorfindel's POV and leave Ecthelion's POV hanging for a week. But I must finish another story first, so just a little more patience please? And you and Anand need to write "Much Ado About Imladris" a little faster might I add? ^_~
