Wow!
This is BRILLIANT!!!
I have to say that I never wanted your first series to end it was soooo good, but all good things come to an end I guess....I guessed wrong!
This is wonderful and as captivating and sensually diverse as your first. Brutal last chapter though, not that I'm complaining. It is wonderful to finally read exactly what took place that fateful day and whilst Glory turned into a complete and utter bastard, which surprised even himself, I think it wonderful to see just how his mind works and what his motivations were.
He really scared himself. The part where when violated Legolas and there was no scream was so powerful I wanted to scream! The way you wrote it I empathised with Legolas so much and the cold horror of Glory realising what he had done and that Legolas was, well starting to fade yes? His whispered pleas to his father were so powerful, you really know how to write this stuff!
I can hardly wait for the next part!

Oh OUCH....
OK, this chapter sheds a Lf lif light on some of Glorfindel's reactions in "Anestel", and on Legolas's reactions as well. Glorfindel bun bundle of HUGE contradictions, and extremely tangled emotions; I really, really like that. Nothing one-dimensional there! I'm glad he realized in time that he was behavas bas badly as the people at whom he was so angry! But I do fear, in retrospect, that if he *did* know this was Thranduil's son from the very start, he either would have indeed raped Legolas in pure anger and then possibly even have killed him, or he would have taken him prisoner--and much, MUCH worse things would have awaited him in Rivendell. Ooo, plotbunny, makes me wonder what would have happened if he had known from his spying.... ;-)
Literally, Legolas being pregnant with Glorfindel's son is the ONLY thing that let him live long enough for Glorfindel to work up an attachment to him, to learn to love him and desire him--and thus to give Legolas a chance, for apparently the first time in his life, to have someone care about HIM and him only (I recall Glorfindel's line about Legolas not realizing his own worth because he is capable of bearing children....)
Will we learn why it is that Thranduil despises his youngest son so much?

@ C.M. Janburfry: Wow, I've brought someone to read slash? He he... I'm feeling proud now! :)
@Elflover: Well, Glorfindel was diving, so Legolas only saw him when he came up. And the reason for Glorfindel being there will be explained within the next chapter. ;) I don't know yet if it will be finished today as I don't feel particularly well, but I'll upload it tomorrow at the latest (or whenever that is in your timezone *g*)
@Anita: You have to consider that he is still extremely young, and scared and alone -- he only wanted to ensure his child's survival, that is why he did what he did in Anestel, at least at the beginning. He is also starved for affection and so falls under Glorfindel's spell so quickly...
