Your stories depress me... but I love them. you write with great clarity and you always have perfect characterization... though I must say that when I read Cuil Eden and Anestel I prayed for Glorifindel's death or for Legolas to have a sudden out of character moment and beat his face in... but you're too good of a writer for that. Your stories invoke emotion in me in a way that most fanfiction doesn't. And you depth of Tolkien knowledge puts my obsession to shame! Really, you're awesome... write more epic angsty stories.

This was great. Nice to see what had happened before Legolas ended up in Imladris. Thanks now I will keep reading the series.

Poor poor poor Lagolas I feel so sorry for him please make the last story better

It was ANESTEL that caught my attention and got me reading this stuff in the first place. It inticed me to fing this site and read more. I am completely mesmirized and cannot stand it! MORE!

Nice to see how the whole thing started between Legolas and Glorfindel. It helps to better understand Legolas' relationship with Thranduil and how he needs to feel loved, even if it's from the enemy.

However, you started the story with Legolas writing to his brother, I'd have liked to see you end with him back in Glorfindel's rooms trying or possibly giving up trying to write again. To see how remembering how it all started has effected him. You also say that he just ran when Thranduil banished him, so how did he decide to head tvendvendell, and Glorfindel? I wouldn't mind seeing that answered as well, before you leave the story finished.

But thats just my 2 cents. :)

Wow, I'm stunned. Beautiful, very good, and some Legolas-angst! Amazing work! I havn't read Anestiel. Should probably do that...

Aw, cripes! It seems like the whole of Mirkwood *already* despises Legolas, given the healer's attitude...

And what's this about Thranduil knowing about Legolas' "weakness"??? What the hey does that mean... that he knew that Legolas could carry a child, or that he was contemptous about Legolas' character?

How awful, that Legolas felt forced to admit the pregnancy before all the advisors (half the court, it seems).... Ai...

Overall, a well written fic, very good on the motivations and characterization -- an improvement on Anestel, I think. I hope the quality continues in the sequels and Mirkwood side story, all of which I am very much looking forward to reading!

Poor Legolas! Pregnant and all alone in this world. The healer said something very interesting, something that could explain( never justify Thranduil's behaviour towards Legolas). I still have hope that they will reconciliate in Anestel's sequel. Bye.
