This story is going on forever, and nothing is happening! Is there any point to it at all besides torturing Pippin and Frodo? Every single chapter is just like the one before. If you're not going to make something happen, please just end it. It gets old seeing the same things happen to the same characters over and over again. This could be a good idea if you would put in some levels. Maybe if sometimes Merry realized how bad he was being and tried to stop it?

Just please, make something new happen soon or else write the end, It's really, really boring now.

I found this story recently while surfing this site-I was immediately sucked in. It's a very interesting AU to explore-somehow, having Merry as the baddie is very believable! I'm looking forward to more. This is, overall, a well-written story, with cliffhangers galore. I do have one wee criticism, though-I'm a lifelong Pippin fan, and I'm feeling very bad for the poor guy! I'm just hoping he sees the light soon!

Worst story ever! Oh my gosh, you must hate these characters something fierce. NO explanation or reason for evil!Merry other than, "oh, guess what my little pea brain is going to do. hehehehe." Oops, I forgot. This can't be the worst story ever since Nasty Hobbits is. OTOH, since this one was inspired by that, I dunno. It's a close call for worst LOTR fanfic ever.

Enthralling as usual. I am so happy you updated so quickly. I even took a break from reading the new Harry Potter to read this upate. A wonderful jobn'tn't wait for more.

I'm a girl, sorry 'bout that. My dad does think I;m something of a tomboy though, and I'm inclined to agree with him. I'm not as interested as joining the army though, as he wants me too be. :)

This is one of my favorite chapters and very aptly named. You've written Sam so well - a combination of kindheartedness and plain old pissed off hobbit. And whacking Merry was almost as satisfying for me as it must have beer hir him. Very nicely done.
