The story has potential. Saddly it is extremely rushed, gives details where not needed and not details where they are needed. You give no real feel for the story. You have alot of dialogue but you fail to paint a vivid picture in the reader's mind.
I wouldn't give up on this story though. If you go back and seriously retool it you could possibly have a great read on your hands.
I will commend you on writing at het story, apparently something of a rare breed at this site.
