That was a very tender interlude, and most insightful as well. I like that you explore the complexities of their emotional triad, in the midst of all that torrid and sensual elven sex!. It does make them so much more real for me... Thank you for a great chapter! :)

Hi thanks for responding and for the explanation. It encourages me to ask even more ;) because you are not offended by such inquiries. I remember somewhere in the series that there was a chapter where the twins came together with 'Las in mind while the latter was in Mirkwood and they in Rivendell. I suppose that they really had him in mind and not each other - much in the same way when either of them enter him during love play. But they have an issue when 'Las is the one who enters them? - they can only allow this when they see it as the other doing it instead of 'Las, that's why they have to be together? Thanks and sorry for the follw-up quiestion, I just want to be clarified.

Hi! This is my first review. I have been following your stories and I am not really for "triad" stories but you do it so well that I am hooked on this series. I am glad that Legolas respects the bond between the twins but at the same time sad that at the end of the day, the twins still consider themselves as foremost belonging to each other. I am curious if there would be a change in this or Legolas would remain the "other" or some sort of "conduit" between them during their love play. This is not a criticism, just wishful thinking that somehow, the twins not only see the witnessing of their bond as a gift to Legolas but that they also realize that they have been gifted with a lover that respects and understands that he would never be regarded quite in the same way as the twins regard each other. I hope you update soon. I also like your peripheral characters.

Hi Lego lust!
First, thank you for reading and reviewing. I am glad you are enjoying the P3 stories, even if they are outside your usual tastes.
I wish you had left an email, because I can write a dissertation on this subject once I get started. I'll try not to! **grin**
I tend to be very twin-centric in my view of the P3 world, so I think I sometimes present things in relation to how they affect the twins and their bond, without giving equal time to the other side of the story. Elladan and Elrohir truly *do* understand what a treasure they have found in 'Las. He accepts and completes them as no one else ever has - or will, as I am definitely a 'happy ever after' writer! **blush** But no matter how deep and abiding their love for him, or how strong the bond with him becomes, he can never be a part of the bond that connects them to one another - they are literally *one* soul. Legolas has come to terms with that idea in a remarkably short time - he knows how very much he is loved. He is so much more than a 'conduit' to them, he is, in fact, the *other*, but only in the sense that he is one half of the whole, while the twins *together* make up the other half.
Okay, I'm rambling. **grin** I'm going to quit. Thanks again for reading and for your thoughtful comments.
**hugs**

Hi Lego lust,
No, I'm not in the least offended. I'm flattered that you are reading so closely! Questions and comments only offend me when I feel like someone is trying to *tell* me how my elves should behave. *That* annoys me! **grin**
The chapter you are referring to is Chapter 1 of 'Shadows'. I don't know that I would go so far as to say that they were thinking of Legolas *instead* of each other, but he was obviously on their mind (single mind, as we're talking about them here as a fused being), and they yearned for him to be there, as well. The reason the twins seem reluctant to yield to 'Las really has nothing to do with *him* - they are simply not submissive by nature, and neither of them has ever yielded in a one-on-one encounter with someone else. The fact that they would even consider such a surrender, and discuss it, is an indication of how very dear Legolas is to them. Hope that helps!

Thanks for the clarification. I understand the bond better now. so it has not come to that point of complete surrendering as two elves who are bonded may do. And the twins can only "surrender' to each other because each is not "another" body. Hope I got that right and hope you update soon. Thanks again.

OK. Now I get it.
When I read your last chapter, I wondered what was going on -- what it was that Elrohir was uncomfortable about and did not end up doing even though Legolas's actions were sort of hinting at something.
I guess it makes sense. In order for the three-way relationship to even exist, Legolas had to get over any discomfort he might have had with being in a vulnerable position. After all, by definition, he is always vulnerable because he is outnumbered. If Elladan and Elrohir ever truly insisted on something, he would have to give in. Legolas had to learn lots of trust, really fast. But Elladan and Elrohir, even if in a technically vulnerable position in a triad, have the reassurance of knowing that there are two of them and one of the other person. I find it hard to imagine either of them on the bottom in a one-on-one sexual encounter with someone else. But this is Legolas. Maybe they need to think about it a bit more. After all, the more roles each of them can play, the greater the depth of the relationship, and the better the quality of the smut...

Hello Minuial, you fics is so great, i love Legolas and twin, especially together. I was a little confused for the last chapter too, but reading your answer i get it already. But i think that if this Legolas has a impetuous disposition, he should be a little more dominant, with that he threatened his brother with a dagger in the past Arc... and you know? I would like to see he take the fused elves hehehe *evil grin*
Your fic is marvelus Minuial and please update soon. I'm always reading though I don't reviewed regularly. the english isn't my native language ;)
