Oh. Sh*t. Poor Michael! (Or was that Phil?) What are our intrepid band of Immortals going to do now? Do they have a plan C? Even if Legs is on the inside, will he be able to rescue Michael without endangering the Mission? What if he decides the Mission is more important than one poor mortal? Is this actually a U.S. military installment, or some fringe paramilitary group? Aargh! Too many questions, we need answers!

Finding not so many reviews of you story on the website I decided that it will be not bad to add my own:-) I certainly like your new mystery very much (more even the previous story about Legolas and Eowin):-). Still cannot figure out what are they doing, but as Michael can say, something very important and good:-) I could not help but worry about Michael being in the middle of the saving the world and, of course, poor boy doesn't even know about true nature of all his new friends and lover. But I prefer if it will happen to be, that Faramir will save him from patrol not Legolas. For me it seems that Michael grows to like if not love Legs. But what about his feelings for Faramir. Every time when Michael asks gods to make Faramir to love him, it's just like a music for my ears. But then he thinks about Legs and admires him I feel bad for Faramir. Silly me, may be I just don't see through the story line:-)
Anyway your story is very interesting!

*rubs hands together in appreciation* Wow! Michael being held as "insurance" by Legs "By Any Means Necessary" Greenleaf. And just what is this "treasonous" act Frances is being asked to do? This just keeps getting better & better! Very different from PM, but that's okay, I'd rather "watch" Legs & Eowyn than Frances & Michael. ns* ns*

Faramir is still out of his depth. The characters are in character....but not.
Is the spelling of Frances deliberate. Francis is the usual spelling for males.
Love Gimli
and the Walkers.
totally entertaining

The more I read, the more I like this story! No surprise there, especially after becoming addicted to PM.
Your use of Capitalization is clever, inspired, and – dare I say it? – genius! Had to laugh when I realized what you were doing (that’s me, a little slow on the up-take!)!
Do I understand the timeline correctly? It seems to be taking place after the whole Legolas-sacrifices-himself-for-Faramir-by-throwing-himself-into-the-Void thing. This Faramir appear be be the kinder, gentler version.
Michael’s pleading, “… please keep me perfect so Frances will never leave me …” is quite possibly the saddest thing I’ve ever read! Gives me an idea of just how fragile he is, what a razor’s edge he walks upon. Also makes me feel more than a little protective of him, which in turn makes me a little paranoid, wondering what you’ve got in store for the poor boy, and just why are the Walkers and Legs taking such an interest in him? (as I said – paranoid grins)
Can’t wait to see where you’re going with this!
