I’m reminded of the scene in Blazing Saddles when the sheriff is heading out to ‘deal’ with Mongo. As he straps on his six-shooter, the Waco Kid warns him, “Don’t do that. If you shoot him, you’ll just make him angry.” Someone should’ve warned the Major-General that shooting Legs wouldt mat make him angry!

Poor Michael, I don’t even want to think about how he’s gonna react to this newest plot twist. His little mind may just shut down. We’ll have put him in a nice warm room with padded wallpaper and one of those nice jackets with the wrap-around sleeves. Frances will be able to visit every Tuesday afternoon and spoon-feed him jello…

I must admit I was thrilled (but not surprised) at Frances’ admission, “‘…if something happens to him I'll have precious little to live for.’” I definitely like this version of Faramir, thank you for making him a kinder, gentler Francis!

I have to tell you... I am completely hooked by your alternative universe!. The very thought of Tolkien's revered characters presented as a 'Mission Impossible' type of organization would be laughable, if it were not so masterfully done. You are amazing!!! and I await the next update eagerly.

NOOOOO!! Not again! What is it with you and killing off our dear Legs? Just when we thought poor Michael was in for a "Fate Worse than Death," in comes Legs kicking butt & not bothering to take names, only to be snuffed out by some toy soldier wannabe. It's a good thing I like rollercoasters - even the emotional ones! But Legs will survive this, right? After all, what's having half one's head blown off to an Imortal, right? Right?

Holy.. something. I must admit that each chapter has made me sit more and more at the very edge of the c - a - and the ending of this one truely made me fall off. Please continue - the explanations from Michael's innocent point of view gives the entire story a slightly errie quality that truely displays just how much the Chosen differ from ordinary people. That, and then that the story is truely a lot darker than what you have shown of this universe previously.
