I can't waitsee see what happens next! Beautifully done. Though if I may guess, I would wager that the maiden was touching the tip of Haldir's ear, nay? But we'll jsut have to see. =-)

I liked the meeting of Haldir and the hobbitspecipecially the part where he could not remember them.

As for Glorfindel decorating Imladris, that was hilarious.

The scene between Haldir and Elrond was very beautiful, almost tender.

And I liked the additional wager between the two brothers. It adds spice.

Overall, a very enjoyable story.

Merenwenfefalas, we definately plan to see this story through to the end (in fact, we've got the last four chapters done, now we just have to get from point A to point B, so to speak). kiki, we're not revealing who it is in his dreams until the very end - so, until that time, you can pretend it's whoever you want ;) Lady of Legolas, there is no such thing as too much Haldir smut, is there? heh heh. Mainframe - wow! mega comments! woohoo! Elrond sure is hiding out in Gondor, but I don't know how long he'll be able to fend off the inlaws. As for dialog, we will literally sit for hours role playing the characters back and forth while we jot down notes. At my place, at Mags' place, in the car, at work, over the phone, while we're shopping, and anywhere else the elf muses stalk us. Tis great fun - our conversations are probably more amusing than the stories themselves. Bungie...um...Haldir/Gimli...I'll think about it...Werecat, yeah, we're a little pal tol to having lots of elves around, as you noticed, glad you're liking the story so far! I've sent a note both to you and Lady Legolas that it's been updated, so enjoy! Chapter Five isn't as funny as the last chapter, but it needed to be written to move the plot along.
