I would love to read more, and discover the untold story.

I'm betting it's both!

Heh, there IS one thing that kind of bothered me when I think about it, though really, in a comedy I COULD overlook it if I wasn't such a bi- uh, female canine. You made the Minas Tirith - Lórien trip (and back) seem like a walk in the park, when it's a distance of maybe 500 miles as the crow flies. Now I'm noo soo sure about exactly how long it would taket I\t I'd guess that with the best, most enduring horses (or ONE horse for both Legs and Gimli, in this case), in the best weather and the easiest terrain, they might cover, say, 60 miles a day.

But this is me being the nit-picking, annoying geek that I am. :)

Excellent, EXCELLENT work. A comedy reminiscent of Shakespeare (and much more enjoyable). Well done, ladies. This is one I'll be re-reading.

(...oh, to be that kitchen maid and be allowed to fondle Haldir's pretty little pointy ear until the tip gets all red... and sensitive... and... and... *thud*)

Loved it. There were a few words in it that didn't belong there, but it's no big deal. I've seen worse. E-mail is above.

Just responding to the comments written thus far. Thanks again to all who have been reviewing and all who have been reading. Sorry there was such a lull there for a while, but I think the muses are all back on track now. Let's see...

Isa - Glad you're getting a laugh out of all of this! We happen to think the funniest chapter is going to be one coming up with Eomer and Eowyn, but we'll have to see what people think when it gets posted.

Lady of Legolas - Sorry 'bout the long wait, but hopefully updates will be sooner from on. on.

Werecat - Ah, the hobbits. And Glorfindel. And the brothers. I think you're going to enjoy this chapter (chpt. seven). As for Elrond, I kind of see both him and Erestor as Haldir's mentors, and that he probably thought of them a bit like heroic figures, but that gets more into the Haldir back story, which isn't really covered here. More funny, less history, and as soon as we get a few more chapters in, more smut, of course.

Mirasaui - :) It might not have been quite all that soon, but here is more story, at the very least.

None - Good guess. I suppose it was a bit easy to figure out, but then the real trick of all this is to figure of whose bed poor Haldir's going to end up in.

That is all for now. Thanks again for all the reviews, the reading, and also the ratings. Untext ext time...
