Oh that was too cute with the holding hands bit, and now he lets Glorfindel give him backrubs.... progress!! I have to admit that I'm curious to see how the different personalities join together, if they ever do. That will definatley be intesting.

Really enjoying your story!!! I just have one suggestion: I think you mean "palpable" instead of "palatable" in this chapter (and maybe in one other, too?)... when you say "the emotion was almost palpable in the air" it means it was thick enough to almost be solid, touchable. But "palatable" means something that is agreeable to your palate - i.e. tastes good. :)

Can't wait for more!

Ooo! I liked that chapter, and even though I've grown to hate him, that part with Saeldis really worked, it was totally unexpected (b/c lets be honest how many other authors would protray the "bad guy" in a different light) but I feel it added to the story, oh and I liked Legolas's mother being there, and Elrond having been all upset and .... actually I liked the whole cahpeter and can't wait to read the next

*picks up phone* "Hey, Santa! You know that thing I mentioned... nah, forget it. It's all good. In fact, maybe you can stick a little something extra on that delivery?"
All is forgiven!
Fabulous work! I like Oiolaires back-story! You made that work so beautifully! :) Very well done, indeed.

Yay! Cute as elfling Glorfindel and Legolas would have been I'm very happy they don't have to grow up agian before they get together. I'm kinda currious about that human god though, I was under the impression all the peoples' or middle earth beleived in the Vala seeing as the Vala made them. But then this is AU and you can do what ever you want. ^_^

(on another note, if you ever feel the need doing an alternate ending were they are reborn as elflings would be neat. Just imagine all the pointlessly cute things they could argue over...)

This story continues to exceed almost all others I've read. I love it!
Sorry for the lack of reviews and the shortness of this one, but my computer met an untimely demise. I had to use my mother's computer to even leave this review. She's puttering behind my back as I type. (Pretty uncomfortable to be on aff.net with her over my shoulder, but I digress...)

Anyhow, I lovelovelove this! Truly exceptional death of Master Saldeis, wonderful meeting of all the spirits within Legolas' mind, thrilling to see within Mandos' Halls, and so exciting to be brought back to life! I'm so looking forward to watching the healing begin and can't wait for more. (Hopefully my computer will get fixed so I can actually read it:)

Happy holidays and thank you for your masterful work

Scary indeed. No need to apologize for the ramble. I love rambling. Great description of the Halls of Waiting. And poor Saedlis -- at least he will obtain some happiness. I've felt sort of sorry for him this whole time, merely because he seemed to have his own unresolved issues. How very true! Pain does beget pain. The statistics seem to evince that very thing. That is a very interesting book you've mentioned. I'll have to try to find it. Drug treatment in the mental health field does seem to be the easy way out. I suppose that the problem is rather the reliance on forms of medicine as therapy due to the intensity required for psychotherapy or other means of 'talking' therapies. In fact, I once had a psychologist tell me that the worst thing that ever happened to psychology was psychiatry. So, in short though, what method did this doctor use for treatment? I mean, was it psychoanalysis or hypnosis or regression or what? Um, updates to my stories are coming....

You are a wicked elfling! The End. INDEED! Very funny.
I have been following this story faithfully and have enjoyed your skillful telling of it, sad though it may be. With this little note, I wish to impart the encouragement to you that I have been remiss in giving all along the way. Keep up the good work. Thank you for sharing your talent and reminding us that even the most beautiful are not without scars -- scars often caused by the very real monsters who walk among us in this world.
