Culmir has played a big role in Legolas' life. This meeting was one in which they were anxious about, but probably helped strengthened their understanding of each other. Wonder who would sneak up on Legolas like that and put a knife to his neck?

By the way, dreadfully sorry for not reviewing your story as of yet. Usually I don't even give second thought to writing a review for a story until I am finished with ALL of it. You see, I've been extremely busy. Writing fanfiction (sadly) does not pay the bills and student loans, but holding down three jobs seems to, so that's what I do with the majority of my time. I wrote the one story I have here a long long time ago when life was much easier and have just began to start posting it daily. I wish I had time to write more but as most people I fall victim to the curse of priorities. I'm only on the internet for no mthanthan about 10-15 minutes a day, but usually less, as I do have to sleep. You must understand that everyone has different situations and troubles.
So to calm your fears and concerns, I have not been "blackening my heart" by lying to or decieving anybody. I hope that is a relief to you. And I will be able to offer your story a much more suitable and in-depth review when I am done with it (as I am regretfully only on chapter 2). As I believe, authors deserve much more consideration than half-hearted reviews and being damned with faint praise.
I hope by this explanation I have relieved you of writing anymore aberrant reviews to me.

I get very bad vibes from Thilion. Seems like Elves can delve into each others thoughts and minds in this stories. It appears Thilion may have sneaked into Legolas' mind and found out about Thrandiul having a male lover. Also, Thilion obviously wants to seduce Legolas and seems like an "user". Side note - interesting departure about Oropher not dying in the Alliance War, but left for the West due to his wife dying.

I am not bothered by your changes. Just add a note to the summery if you are concerned.
After all this is fiction and I see nothing wrong with altering the time line or what ever to
suit the story line. So please continue ... more

I didn't know of the mistake til you pointed it out! *grins* Hmm........for me I think that it's fine to go on from where you were. However, if it bothers you, then go ahead and rvise your chapters. Whatever you choose, I will be there waiting for your new chapters! *grins*

Just noticed your story and have enjoyed reading it. Legolas' mother is such an understanding friend to Thranduil and a wonderful mother to her children. I did think it unusual that both of Thranduil's sons have sexual preferences for males, when that leaning is supposedly small in Mirkwood's population. Was very pleased to read that the sister could become Queen of Mirkwood.

In regards to your concerns about the accuracy of certain facts in your story, most fanfiction is AU anyway. Most readers understand this fact. Just put an AU disclaimer in your chapter notes, so some readers won't be bothered about certain facts.

It makes no difference to me if the timeline is a little off. If fanfic authors can give Legolas siblings, make 3/4 of the Elves (and Men...and Hobbits...and...oh, you know what I mean) gay, then who cares about the timeline??

I've "heard" it before and I'll repeat it for you: Only Tolkien could write canon.

You write *your* story and I, for one, will continue to read. *S*

Wonderful! What a rich tapestry you have created! I loved the history and explanations you gave, alot of work went into that. Most would not enrich their stories by provding the depths into characters that you have. Hats off, can't wait for a update!
