Oh ... that was a very unexpected turn. I wonder how this will continue - this is not the Elladan I know. And I can't imagine he is so cruel as it seems in this chapter! He wouldn't bread Imrahil's heart, will he? I hope the both of them will overcome this rift soon! Can't wait for the next update!

this is a really great story. I've always been a fan of your stories: I've read all the stories you posted. I can't wait to see what happens next.
Also, I'm curious about something: some of the stories of your Twilight Tales series are stories that were supposed to be in the Greenleaf and Imladris series but were taken out. My question is, are there stories about the other couples in G&I that are in Twilight Tales, like Erestor and Glorfindel (I'm really fond of this couple) or Elros and Lindir?

poor Imrahil... to add insult to injury. I find Elladan's behaviour so callous. Funny how Elves to to consider that Mortals should be treated with less regard than their fellow Elves. I find such behaviour inexcusable with Men, so when a millenia old Elf who should know better does this... What was he thinking he was doing? Is this some kind of sport? Imrahil is such a wonderful person, and he really hasn't been treated like he deserves.

My head, my throat, my heart, my stomach...I feel sick all over. What in Arda was Elladan thinking? I can't imagine he could be so cruel. Please fix this so Imrahil doesn't die of heartbreak. That was some of the best writing I have ever come across. :)

Oh, gods, how could you stand to write that? It made my throat hurt to read it. I don't think I will try this chapter again until the next installment is up (maybe the next two, just to be safe)...just too painful, my dear! Incredibly written emotion- I would salute if I weren't wiping my eyes...

awesome chapter!!!!!!!!

I have to come out of lurkdom to add my thoughts here. I have been following this story and I enjoy it though I must confess I long for chapters that would devote some parts to Legolas and Elrohir. But this chapter jolted me. I am guessing that Elladan has had a traumatic experience a long time ago with men - maybe of Imrahil's line? And this is some sort of "vengeance" though Elladan might not intend it to be. I am also wondering if his twin and law brother are aware of his "past." I do thinthink either of them would condone such behavior and would willingly tolerate Elladan hurting another being, Imrahil for that matter, if they are aware of Elladan's dark side. But then again, I am assuming there is nothing that Elrohir does not know about him - especially if Celeborn does. So there is a dark side to this story that I can't wait to read about. And I'm sure we all want to believe that there is much more to Elladan's behavior than just being plain promiscuous. Excellent writing as usual.
