The phrase "war is fairly eminent" should be "war is fairly imminent"

Eminent means "Towering or standing out above others; prominent: an eminent peak.
Of high rank, station, or quality; noteworthy: eminent members of the community.
Outstanding, as in character or performance; distinguished: an eminent historian."

Imminent means "Threatening to occur immediately; near at hand; impending; -- said especially of misfortune or peril." It usually doesn't take a modifier - 'fairly imminent' is fairly meaningless.

Wow. It sounds quite interesting. I would most definately love to read this! Espescially if it turns out to be a Legomance. ^^ *giggles* Anyway, yes, waiting for the first chapter now. ^^
