Its a pretty good story, although in some places, it does seem a bit Mary Sueish, but i'll live. I can totally relate to the throwing of breakable objects against rocks. Keep writing, it's enjoyable.

Lovely story, I love the way you've tied-in the Harry Potter aspects with the LOTR ones. One question though, how do you explain why the HP-world is all modern, and Middle Earth is still in medieval times? Are they separate worlds? or is Middle Earth a separate continent unchanged by time? Or is Middle Earth the past of the Harry Potter world? Thus Hermione was sent back in time, as perhaps Aragorn was at a young age? I'm just a tad confused. I think it might work best if they were either separate worlds tied together, or Middle Earth is a continent of its own. Just my thoughts on the subject.

I must say, I'm curious who Hermione falls for..
