I thought the series was great!! I have no problem with the new chapters. It leaves a lot of room humor and angst. After all, this is called fantasy. I can easiepareparate the last chapter from the rest of the series in my mind if I so desire. I love anything you write!! I look forward to reading your other stories you mentioned. You are one of my favorite authors. Keep up the GREAT work!!

I am reviewing this for the sake of the disappointing shown idiocy of certain 'Anon's. Really people, if you think you can do better, do show us the proof. I'm interested to see if your high and mighty mannerisms could possibly reproduce a piece of work that has obviously taken much time from this good author's life to create and excellently so. And I must admit...for people who act like they rule the world, you certainly showed the attention span and intelligence of an amoeba. A warning is there for a reason. If all you are doing is trying to pull someone down, you just proved how f***ed up your life really is. Eressë wrote this story and has done an exceedingly incredible job of intergrating canon with fanon as well as her own intelligent imagination. If you don't like the latest chapter, even if it is for comedy's sake, then go find Tolkien's grave and join him, for he is the only one that could truly tell if things happened as such. Or will you tell him that he is screwed up for having so much incest in his books? Didn't think so. Please save the rest of us from your inane blatherings on what is a 'train wreck' and what is not, for I know a few fics that should have gotten shot down swiftly, but are still going. Mayhaps they are yours.
And for Eressë: Hon, you are the best! I am one of the on again off again mpreg likers and I have got to say that this has already turned into one of the best I've read so far. I can't wait for more, am hoping that the stereotypes are down a bit, and can't wait for more!!! Love, DA

I'm still here. I'm still enjoying it.
And I'm also sad that this series is going to be over soon. I hope that the conclusion of this doesn't mean that you're giving up on fanfic writing in general... it's been so nice to have a reliably excellent writer produce stories so frequently on AFF. I'd understand if you don't want to maintain this pace, but please, keep writing!

This is the first time I have ever posted a review but in light of certain reviews I feel to not do so would be insulting. I have been practically obsessed with this story since my friend recommended it. I rush home from work just to read the next chapter(think of me what you will). As an avid reader--though new to fan fiction in general and this is my first ever slash story--I must say I am completly enthralled with your writing. This story has not only entertained me for the last few weeks but has made me really think about some of my own perceptions of life, love and fantasy. To censor or put limitations on your ideas and writing at this point would be degrading. Though I loved ch. 29 and EVERY other chapter I am completely enjoying ch. 30 as well--I haven't laughed this much in awhile. Thank you for letting us share this love story with you.
By the way, if you ever decide to go pro or publish something beyond the internet(hint, hint), I'll buy every book!!! Immediately!!! Can't wait for more from you!

Hmm... Well, I guess I should add my two cents to the controversy, here.
When I first read the title of the upcoming chapter, I pondered to myself wha cou could be about. The only two possibilities that came to mind were 1) mpreg (going under the assumption that one of them, most likely Elrohir, would yearn for a child), or 2) something that breaks the peace (and implied monotony of same), for the warriors to once again be thrown back into the fray.
But returning to a world (back to Middle Earth?) fraught with danger, where one of our pair could again be killed, doesn't exactly seem like a reward.... and it would go against percperceived destiny of the Elves, to remain forever at peace in the Blessed Realm.
So, it had to be mpreg.
I do not mind mpreg stories, so long as they are well-written, and there is some plausible reason for the pregnancy. A whim of the Valar is entirely reasonable, I think; it could also be seen as a reward for long centuries of devoted love and daring heroism.
That said, I do cringe a little at the stereotypes that predominate in mpreg fiction... not *every* woman has severe morning sickness, for example. On the one hand you do have Legolas behaving in stereotypical ways (which makes me roll my eyes), but on the other hand you have Nimiethel reminding him/us that every pregnancy is different. I hope that you ease up a bit on the stereotypes for the rest of the story (although it is entirely suitable for Legolas to be vocally unhappy with Elrohir during the labor.) I do like how you touched upon how the rest of the Elves viewed the pregnancy, versus Legolas' perceptions.
As for the anon posters who are complaining about the mpreg, and/or authors who don't know when to quit. Well, to echo Eresse's other defenders, you were warned. Very explicitly and in great detail. And it is up to Eresse to tell her story, and determine what is the proper ending of it - not you.

In all matters, there will always be detracters, people who do not agree with you or your decisions. But I'm so glad that these criticisms did not get you down. *grins* Yes! Another chapter too to boot *grins*
Hehe pregnant females often have wild mood swings. Hehe I did expect that Legolas will have it worse. It seems appropriate in view of his 'unusual' condition. Well, at least he does have an understanding spouse. *grins* Poor Elrohir. At least Legolas has made it up to him ne? *hentai grin*
Keep going!~ Readers like me are always on the lookout for a new chapter. Gambatte!

Rofl. Mpreg. *laughs and shakes head* Well, it isn't my favourite thing in the world, but I love your writing so much, I'm sure it'll work out just fine. I just fear for Valinor...lol. If people say Mpreg sucks...well, they obviously haven't been around fanfiction long because it's all over the place. And I'm sure that you, of anyone, can pull it off with grace :-) I can't wait for more stories after this series ends--even though it will be sad to see it come to a conclusion--because you're such an excellent writing. I just can't believe you waited until now to post, lol. Where were you last year when I actually have time to sit down and enjoy my fanfiction properly? :-P

Hi. I think that a child or children will be their ultimate reward for such a wonderful love. Hope you will continue it and don't pay much attention if someone doesn't exactly like malepreg. Bye.

I wish I had the words to express how much I have enjoyed your Greenleaf & Imladris series.
It is filled with innocence, charm, angst, adventure, romance, passion, loss, hope and humor;
very much the way life is. Your use of words and ability to story tell is delightful; the best
complement I can give you is to say that I was never bored, I never skipped ahead and I
have reread several parts for sheer enjoyment. I love your last flight of fancy with our two
heroes having a child (or twins? LOL), it fits well after the period of pain, longing & waiting
that they endured. I hate to see the series end as I always checked for new additions everyday.
Anyway, thank you. Please, please make this a lpartpart and I will always look for any stories
you may grace us with in the future. ;D
