I loved this Series!! One question, you did not give the meaning of the Elrohir's and Legolas's elfling's names... What does Eledhand and Mîranor mean??

Twins! I have known it! Oh, this was really sweet! As always, I have enjoyed the new chapters very much, as well as the whole series. But now I am sad because "G&I" is really over ... *sniff* I will miss it terribly!
So I am glad you will continue to write and look forward for your "Twilight tales". And I hope very much, you will write some chapters about the growing up of this new babes! It would be much fun to read how Elrohir and Legolas will handle their twin sons! And of course, I am very curious if they will have more children. And there are Glorfindel and Erestor ... there are so many things I would like to know (and surely the other readers as well). Please!?
Eresse, I want hankhank you very much for G&I - it is one of my two favourite fics ever, and I'm re-reading it again and again. Fortunately it is very long! You have given me so many hours of suffering with our beloved couple, of laughing and joy, for which I am very grateful!

I can't believe its over. I knew it would happen but I guess I justld nld not truly prepare myself for it. I would run home everyday after work and check aff.net religiously. What am I going to do now? Please tell me you are considering anotheic aic adventure. It was a tremendous pleasure reading your story and I will miss it terribly. Have you considered creating your own website for your stories? I hope so.

Oh my, this is my last review? I hope not! Eresse, you should have added to your warning at the very start of this series that it could be addictive and that it may cause you severe separation anxiety in the end! I guess this somewhat resembles what the LOTR cast must have felt at the very end of shooting ROTK. Although I can understand that theirs was mixed with a feeling of relief; ours does not for how can we feel relieved when it's over, finally over???? :(((((( Well, I would have wanted for this last arc to be longer so I was quite stunned when I saw the bold letters COMPLETED before I read the last chapters. But I love these last ones as ever. How ominous really for Legolas to take care of Elrohir when he was a child. How could he have guessed that he would actually be doing so in the not so distant future. And Elladan's cajoling about suckling by Elrohir, milk or no from Legolas turned out to be also prophetic. Hmmm, I also like the way the Powers intervened - I sort of anticipated it because Legolas' case is unique - which brings me to the point of your brilliant writing again. Although this is mpreg, you never denied it's inherent impossibility and had to emphasize it all throughout the story that this is an exceptional occurrence, so much so that Legolas had a difficult time reconciling it with his own self assessment as a warrior elf and as a male elf. There are a lot of stories which treat mpreg as though it was as natural as buying fruit from the market. I know this is done because we are in the world of fiction. And you could have written your story along this category of "fiction within fiction" but I think it would have sacrificed the integrity of the whole series because although G&I is still fiction, you wrote it realisticallly, even taking time to explain the duality in elves to justify their bonding to either sex. Reading what Legolas went through in giving birth reminded me also of my c-section, all three of them - the pain, dull ache, everything including the joy after seeng your child for the first time. Thanks again for such a wonderful series. Please reconsider and ponder of the possibility of adding a little more so we can read about the twins tender years and their parent's loving. Your followers do not ask much, they ask too much, but I hope you reconsider. I'm already waiting for twilight tales hopefully to get shreds of G&I side stories. Many thanks again for sharing this series with us.

To Daisy: I wrote G&I in bits and pieces and as a hobby over a period of ten years. Which is why some parts may have seemed experimental like To Have and To Hold. I had no intention of posting the series when I first wrote it.
To Creashuns: Eledhmir means "Elf-treasure" while Miranor is "treasure of the sun."
To the question about whether there will be stories on the new twins and Glorfindel and Erestor: Yes. In Twilight Tales. I just didn't want to draw G&I out and longer than it was already!
To everyone, thanks again. I will try to respond to your other questions via email.
warmest regards,
Eresse

You've either been pregnant or been lovingly near someone who is/was, Eresse, to write so sweetly of the experience. Yes, Legolas would be fierce/sweet/hot no matter what his condition and I enjoy Elrohir's protective/loving regard of him.
I always look forward to reading your words! Please continue to entertain us with tales of this couple, no matter the "universe".
P.S. And humor and sex (ie. freshly baked pies and leering interlopers stuffedo bao barrels!) is always welcome!

well, I'm swamped, but have been trying to follow the best I can, time allowing. I heard you got a lot of negative feedback. Well, just wanted to let you know, I'm not disappointed. I'm thoroughly enjoying the new twist. Lol, poor Legolas. Or is it poor Elrohir who has to live with pregnant Legolas. Can't choose. Well, it may not be as heavy as the main story, but it's an entertaining little epilogue. I do hope you post those other stories you mentioned. I'm eager to read more from you and regret the coming end of the series.
