Aragorn and Boromir fics usually don't capture the emotions of their relationship the way this one does. I like how you used the movie version, including the lines, to express what was really going on. Yet another fic well done.

Very nicely done! Hot but still with character development and such. Liked being able read Aragorn's *thoughts* Good job!

You make me love more Boromir and dislike poor Aragorn...
And you left out a beautiful scene: "I will be your faithful steward, if you were my king. Will you be my king?"
But where is the sad end? The arrows, the famous last words? sob..

Man. Another heartbreaker. You're really good at this.
Hot as hell and incredibly sad, both at once. Wow. I could
hailleilled Aragorn for what he said - and I thought Legolas'
line about why he didn't tell Gimli was righ tar target. I admit
I was a bit freaked out in chapter 3 by Boromir's characterization
of his relationship with his soldiers, but that was mitigated somewhat
by the next line, "Yet each and every one of them would give his life
for me." It's an interesting paradigm you've set up there, and now that
I think about it, I wonder if you want to explore that specifically some
time. A pre-Fellowship story. I dunno - I'd be interested. It'd be one
hell of a dynamic. Especially if Faramir knew.

I loved it.
Aragorn is my fav and i'm glad he was paired with boromir, not legolas.

Aw, I feel so sorry for Boromir. Poor baby! It seems that we both have a preference for torturing him. ;-)
I really liked chapter 5! Gimli and Legolas are very cool in your story, I like their behaviour a lot. Your "Aragorn's POV" is excellent. Very believable. And, as always, your writing style is enthralling and beautiful.
I can't wait for chapter 6!! (I hope things will brighten up again at one point in your wonderful story! I might enjoy a good deal of angsty mental torture, but I don't want to see Boromir's heart get entirely crushed and squashed and trampled on by Aragorn.)
