This fic is really wonderful - I can't wait to read the next part! This story is one of the very few I've where Legolas is the strong controlling part, and Haldir, though he thinks he has control, becomes the one who swoons - and where the hunter becomes the hunted. Wonderful turning of the tables here, and fitting so well with both book and movie canon.

Bravo! You have crafted a wonderful story, and I am hooked. ve yve your Haldir, and I love your Legolas with him. Not weak, not submissive, def definitely dealing with some past demons. Great stuff.
And kudos for acknowledging that not all elves, especially the Galadhrim speak the Common Tongue. Very few authors either realize or point out that they do realize that.
I'll be checking back frequently for the 3rd chapter. I hope Legolas can resolve his issues. I hope Haldir helps.
Oooh, and the naughty bits--yummy!

Ooooh, Very good. Very good. I like how Legolas is playing Haldir as well. Don't often get to see the Prince this way when he is being paired with the March Wardern.
I loved the blindfold scene (though I wish you would have kept the "Plague on the stiff necks of Dwarves/Plague on the stiff necks of Elves" line). Tasty treat, that! And Haldir's line to Legolas about the pout--yummy!
Heh. The thought of Legolas drunk was amusing. The thought of him acting drunk even more so.

I like this fic. Legolas is not naive or weak. Considering how old he must be it's not difficult to make him as equally cunning as Haldir and Aragorn. Please continue.
