I love this story. I s great n'tn't usaly read stories of this type but i am fasinated by it and can't wait to read the rest.

thanks for your vision on this...but i do have an explanation as too why i left it out, in two of my other stories which had rape in it, i got flamed over 30 times, because i did give more detail, they say it hurts victims of it too much to read and that i didn't care about their feelings.

Having been a victim of rape myself it helped me to write about it, because i know how you feel and stuff, but i do agree with those people, it's too close to reality, to hard for many to read it. I know it should be more detailed but it will get there, only without this part of detail. Just keep reading u'll see

Did I like it?Hell yeah absolutely!I still want to kick Celeborn out cold.

I really don't like the fandom idea that rape victims will immediately appreciate someone sleeping with them to "take away the pain/memory/fear". The memory will last a long time, and emotional (as well as physical) healing takes a lot longer than a day. Sure, maybe after a victim has gotten to know and trust their new partnell,ell, eventually they will feel comfortable with the idea of sex and will overcome their fears and partake in the act, and that can be a form of healing. But it just seems like lust, rather than love, would drive Haldir to take advantage of Leggy's vulnerable state after his traumatic experience by seducing him. Sorry for the rant, but I feel like this is a particularly important topic and that your fic (which I was enjoying, by the way) could show a lot more depth and maturity if you took more time to develop the relationsip between Legolas and Haldir before sending them to bed together. Like, perhaps they should have talked about Legolas' emotional reaction to his rape, or perhaps Haldir could have gotten him to speak of why he insisted that homosexual relationships were foul and could have dissuaded him from believing his father's prejudices... the two have a lot of get-to-know-ya-stuff that could be explored as you show them gaining trust and emotional intimacy before they attain physical intimacy. Thanks for reading my little essay here, and I look forward to rng mng more of your writing, especially as you develop your style and incorporate more detail and depth into your characters and relationships. I hope that you continue on with the story, I am enjoying it. You are doing a really good job at it. The one confusing stuff part was in Ch. 1 you mentioned someone watching Haldir and Legolas, was that Celeborn?
