Okay, I know this story is over 5 years old and your probably surprised to get a review for "Your Room or Mine?" but I just had to send you my kudos for a great little story. I'm making my way through AFF.nets fanfiction LoTR section to re-read some stories I haven't read for a while with my OTP of Erestor/Glorfindal and decided to read something different when I saw the pairing of this story in the summery. It sounded interesting in an amused sort of way.
I've heard people talk about some of the strange pairings that fans have written... ones that maybe weren't exactly liked because of squick factors (like putting Legolas with Lurtz)... but I've become pretty adventurous of late and it sounded to good to pass up.
So I was pleasantly surprised that I loved it!
I usually try to pick out the parts I liked the best... thought was exceptionally funny or touched my heart with it's waffyness, but honestly, I'm having trouble picking out any one single part as my favorite. But I guess if I was forced to pick a certain part it would have to be when they were at dinner with Miss Priss (Monque?) and Gloin threw the gauntlet (challange) on the table with his questions and how miserably she responded and his raising himself as champion. I must say, if I'd been at the table, I would have rose and applauded.
I do agree with past reviewers however, I would have loved to see a sequel, maybe with Miss High-and-Mighty catching them in a compromising position *lusty grin*.
