Another great chapter (where do you keep getting those anyway? *g*)
The story is going on fine. Not all suprises are past (still at least one obstacle :) ) but the great and dreaded meeting is coming up. Angst arounround for Leggy, who fears the reaction of several of the crowd. Oh well, at least Eomer's not going to kill him :)
I really like the whole 'Listener' - idea. It gives a great extra dimension to Legolas' character. Just imagining it: talking to your Gods, it kin giv gives me the creeps :) And yes, someone should tell them that some things are meant to stay private :)
Great going, as always. I'm eagerly awaiting the next chapter!

Are there any other readers who like myself are experiencing tendencies to sprinkle their conversation with bits of wonderfully vulgar English slang? Umm..what does gobshite mean, anyhow? Like all yours chapters before it, Chapter 8 nevers falters once in ats hts humorous, fantastically sexy, crude and poignant aspects. The dialogue between Legolas and Manwe was well defined. Like a loyal vassal, Legolas bends himself respectfully to Val Vala's will. But there is nothing obsequious in Legolas' compliance. I get a sense that Eru alone would have Legolas' true worship. Nice touch in showing Legolas' concern for Dorcas' insecurity. He refuses to compromise his individual principle for love. Although it would have been more convenient to have just given Dorcas the boot out of the house, she is also brought under his care.
I am eagerly awaiting more mor more!

Everything I thought Iw abw about this story before reading gave every indication that I would hate it. Instead, I must tell you that I think it is one of the most brilliant pieces of writing I have ever read. You do the impossible. It is crude, outrageous, hysterically funny (fertilize me!) and breathtakingly heart-achingly romantic and I just can't get over it. I do hope you will continue this for a long, long time. You have a remarkable talent.

Thank You for this new chapter.(8) As usual, utterly superb and enthralling.
Loved the valar again, loved the humour, loved the romance, loved the sex...thoughts of a prawn covered in lime and tequila sauce gripping a nipple, is now something I have resolved to try! I like Faramir in the book and movie but I bloody hate him here!! Well done.
I want that horse farm with Legolas so much!! (and still screamingly funny, the langauge and the image of Gimli (Grim) drunk and staggering and puking over Arwen's golden dress!)

This is one of the most original and clever LOTR fanfics I've ever read. I especially loved Chapter Three when you swept the story into the stream of elvish mysticism on immortality. Very spiritual and what an amazing contrast to PottyMouth Legolas. It reminded me that beyond the veneer of Biker- Elf, he is truly in mind and heart one of the Eldar. Would you think about writing a bit more along this theme?? (humbly requested) You are a very talented writer thank you for this great story .

This is one of the best examples of style and content I have ever seen.
And you make it romantic rather than sleazy and prurient.
Okay, you've convinced me that Legolas and Eowyn are perfect together
