HEY!! Where's our friggin' update??? We've waited nearly two whole days for the next chapter and I, for one, am about to go nuts waiting! I'm *supposed* to be cleaning house and doing laundry...not that I'm getting much done, mine you, when I feel compelled to come and check for an update every 30 minutes.

Put me out of my misery, will ya? Post the next chapter. Please??

What a roller coaster of a tale! The "sacrifice of Legolas" plot twist was wrenching. For a minute, I was in doubt and dreading an ending that would spoil the great pleasure reading this story has given me. But, after looking back at so many chapters of Pottymouthed humor, sizzling sex and loving treatment of characters, I just knew this wonderful read was safe in the hands of an author who would continue to faithfully deliver. Bravo!!!

OK. I *suppose* we can let you live. I've just spent the last day and a half trying to compose all sorts of flaming, horrible reviews only to tell myself to wait, surely you'd some through for us, your devoted readers. SURELY you would not kill off our foul-mouthed hero after he'd been promised his reward.

THANK YOU!

>>>In. Out. In. Out. Reminds me of something else I used to know that I can't remember.<<< LOVED THIS LINE!!

Two questions that I hope are answered:

1) WHY did he have to die in the first place??

2) What the hell happened to that rat bastard Faramir???

This was a hard chapter to read. Mostly because I've been through what your Eowyn is going through right now. What you've written is exactly what you go through. Exactly. If you haven't lived through this shit and write from the profound horror of having experienced a sudden violent death of a loved one, then I bloody applaud you. You nailed it.

Now, I'm curious as to how you are going to finish this. Legoals is dead. Dead is dead and unless you're going to pull a Sleeping Beauty (and I really don't think you are) I'm wondering how you're going to resolve all of the dramatic problems Legolas's act created. I'm also unsure as to why Manwe directed him to take Faramir's place, when all the talk previous to this was about a reward, or rewards for a life spent in obedience. Was it simply a matter of him wanting to spare someone this fate, no matter how much he deserved it, or did Manwe directly tell him "Hey, your time is up! Cash in your chips". I'm assuming that this is the obstacle mentioned throughout the story. I'll have to go back and re-read Chapter 16. Fanfiction so often reaches for the easy, happy en. No. No matter how troubling the events in the story, the hero and the heroine (or hero if you're a slash fan) get together and live happily ever after. Unfortunately, if you live long enough, you get to see that happy endings to real stories are rare. Life isn't like that. You only get a chance at happiness... nothing in the contract says you actually get it handed to you, no matter how hard you work for it. All you get is a chance and a slim one at that.

I had only a few years with someone I loved beyond all reason and his violent death is something that I'm not sure I can every truly get over. Still, I would not have traded the time I had with him for anything - he was that wonderful a person. I think he'd agree with everything you're put down so far.

Good work. I await the next installment.
