uh oh! the plot thickens! So Legolas, although not very attached to poor Orophin, is jealous? hmmm. Spoiled brat. I hope Thranduil will give him some competition! hahaha!
And I wonder what the guards have to say about legolaometomething not very complimentary I fear.
How do you view the dear prince's personnality? Is he horribly selfish, self-centered or very guarded? Will he discover maybe too late he's in love???

The thing with Legolas is that he's not really such a horrible Elf on the inside. He is very much in love with Orophin, only doesn't realize it.
He is used to getting whatever he wants, from everyone, that he doesn't consider the fact that his actions are wrong and what might en ien if
Orophin finds out the truth, or otherwise gets hurt. You know, sometimes you just don't know what you've got until it's gone...

As for what the guards have to say... I forget now which chapter it was but when Legolas came back to 'Lorien it mentioned that he felt guilty for having
taken one of his guards as a lover before returning to orophin.

Ooooh! I just knew something was up with Thranduil! I just knew it! XD I hope everything works out to a happily ever after. This story is starting to make me feel sad. =( Poor Orophin...r THr THranduil... I hesitate to say Poor Legolas, he really needs to find out what true love really is. =3

Hmm, I tend not to follow canon for whenever it poses a problem. I fihat hat when I try to then I start worrying myself sick about whether
everything fits...

I like it for the most part, especially how it started out. Though Legolas sounds like a complete ass now. ;_; Poor Orophin. Ack, Not only an ass, a lieing bastard as well. I never thought I'd want to strangle Legolas before. X( I'm kinda scared to continue, for Orophs sas sake. -_-; And what's up with Thranduil... @_@
Technically, going by canon, most Elves were leaving Lorien in the first place. It's stated by Tolkien that Legolas took many Mirkwood and Lorien elves with him to settle in Ithilien after the war. In fact, after Galadriel sailed, Celeborn moved to a section of Mirkwood and founded East Lorien. So if we think of the fact that Lorien is fading, it wouldn't be unprecedented for Orophin to move. =3 Sorry I'm a canon whore. X3

Why does Thranduil even care who his son hurts?Legolas should tell Orophin the truth and Orophin should open his eyes before he really gets hurt emotionally.

Hmm...I like your Thranduil very much, but I get the feeling Legolas has not REALLY changed for the better (evil grin)! Nice chapter...write faster!

Again, thanks for the reviews. You all are great. In response to the last review, Thranduil cares because he's got a good heart,
and he doesn't like it when his son breaks, others' hearts, and also he kinda likes Orophin ;)
