Oooh! Is this one of those 'Kill 'em off and bring 'em back' fics? I do hope so! I love those! Anyway, great start, waiting for more!

Ah! Yay! More angst XD

Oh dear, oh dear. I always did wonder what happened to Gilwen. Now I wish she wasn't so long-lived. I never truly liked her before, but I did pity her lot in life. She sounds as if her anger at her fate has twisted her into someone evil. How cold she is, to simply watch her husband (no matter how much she hated him) die like that. This is not the same woman that Elrohir knew back then!

My imagination is going in all sorts of directions with regards to how you will take this story. I eagerly anticipate the next chapter, and I'm comforted by the knowledge that ultimately, we will have our happy ending.

Oh my - frightening! I do hope the suffering I see coming will be emotional rather than physical... I love Elrohir and Legolas, and I firmly believe any emotional suffering makes their love for each other stronger. Which is painfully sweet to read about!

I knew it!!!! Gilwen would make a comeback! Who else would cause misery to Legolas but a rival. If there was any doubt in my mind it was becuase I was thinking that she would be old by now. But of course I forgot that she was Imrahil's line. What a family, first Aerondir, now Gilwen though I reckon she is more evil and cunning than Aerondir. lease update tomorrow!

Alternatively, Elrohir might seek to lie with Legolas before, say, reaching his majority or any other reason why Legolas cannot give in...
