This is my third posting for this chapter alone. I am sad that Elrohir died but I guess I expected it. Who else would be the "character death" in the warning? Legolas goes through the hardest and most bitter test. So he must be the one grieving and I guess the title says it all -- soul of a knight. Literally, that is, Elrohir's existence at least temporarily would be in the realm of the spirit. I was dreading this since I read the title in the first chapter together with the warning but like Elladan, I am at peace because we are assured of a happy ending. Happy Easter!

Thank you, lego forever. Happy Easter to you, too, and everyone else. And, yes, I absolutely promise you all--there will be a happy ending!

What a nice way to start Easter morn reading two additional chapters. I anticipate that it's going to be hard, complicated path for the two lovers but that will bring their reunion even sweeter in the end. And of course your brilliant writing will guarentee the reading of this series more heartfelt and fulfilling. Wow, I swear I have picked up some old English from you and made conversation for me a little more literary than I would be capable of.

*sniffle*...there had better be a happy ending. My little thwapping heart can't take it if there isn't a happy ending, because that was sooo sad...people are giving me funny looks because I've got tears on my cheeks...from the computer screen...*sniffle*

Agh I was so behind. I haven't had a chance to review some of your other stories yet. *sob* I'll get to it eventually, promise. Just wanted to let you know I'm still here, and loving it. Though I'm really worried about what that Gilwen has planned for our Elf-knight. Can't wait for the next chapter. ^_^ Seriously though, some people can't take a hint, eh. Even when it's a public and obvious one. Jeez. So sad that Aragorn and everyone is gone now. A lot of times stories don't touch on the other characters deaths, which was a sad but nice touch. *sniffle* I suppose there isn't much left after this, aside from the Valinor story you told me about once. I hope that it doesn't signal the end to your writing, I would love to see more work from you after thisspecspecially with Legolas and the twins, seeing as you write them so well. Well, that's it for now. Sorry I've been so remiss in reading and reviewing. I'll try and be better. Promise. ^_^

I was determined not to read this one until you finished it, because i just knew my heart couldn't take the strain of waiting for updates! Obviously, I gave in ; ) This is perfect, as usual - but I reserve the right to change my mind if there isn't an incredible reunion in Valinor!

The more I read it the more I get teary eyed. That Gilwen, I want her tortutred! Why did she have to die swiftly! Oh well... you said that this is going to be as long as Calenlass. I am counting on it so I am waiting for a couple more chapters before you post your final (sniff) series in Valinor. This is not the last chapter, is it?

I just struck me, if this is as long as Calenlass then Legolas' test has just begun? So we have not reached the "hardest" and most "bitter" test for Legolas for the love of his elf-knight?
