I've read through chapter 7 of your story, and I have to tell you that it is heartbreakingly beautiful. I have cried more than once, and I am totally in love with these characters. I love the amount of time you spend on thoughts and motivations, and I can tell you are spending a lot of time on each update by the amount of detail in each chapter. From a reader's perspective, it makes it so much easier, and more enjoyable, to get into a story when it has that kind of substance. Thank you so much for this. I really can't wait to see what life in the house of Elrond is going to be like for Legolas.

This story is good. Well detailed and intricate. I'm curious to see where it's going... hopefully towards a happy end. My only critism would be that youd tod to punctuate more clearly. Some of your sentences are long and it's difficult to tell where to break. Also it is difficult to tell who is speaking, you switch from present to past back to present, and its difficult to recognize the shifts at times. I find myself rereading certain paragraphs to make it more clear in my mind and I'm still not sure if what I'm reading is what you intended. Otherwise I am very much enjoying the story so far.

I'm really enjoying your tale - you write excellently, and are clearly willing to give us a well-developed plot and expertly crafted characters. I can't fathom why there are so few reviews, except for the fact that the very beginning of the story, which seems to portray such hopelessness for dear Legolas, may be turning people away. I myself had to ask if I had the strength of heart to follow your plot if I already knew that such a bleak future would await all of Legolas' efforts. I managed an affirmative, and have since then optimistically convinced mf thf that the jailed Legolas is serving out the remainder of his sentence in Mirkwood (after his years serving Elrond) and that he might be freed to return to Glorfi once the requisite years have passed. Hopelessly optimistic? Yes, I am - I'm a complete sucker for a happy ending, and usually won't read fiction that has a high likelihood of tragedy... drawing me back to my original point, which is that you have surpassed many - it is quite a feat to get me thoroughly hooked, and to do so with a story which promises such heartache is nigh impossible (and to squeeze a review out of me?? lordy!). But here I'll say it: Please continue!

You are very gifted! This is beautifully written! The plot is very original, and I can't wait to see what happens next! The way Legolas covers his wound so no one would see, and how he protects the Imladris elves is so heroic, and every story needs a hero. The fact that you stress that the crown prince is fighting lets the reader infer that Mirkwood is really in trouble, so much, in fact, that they have to send their royalty out to fight. I love this fic! I hope you continue, and soon! I want some good Leggy-bashing!

Oh this is wonderful! I haven't read anything this good in a long time. I love the detail and complexity of the storyline, and I can't get enough of a heroic Legolas. I just didn't want it to stop. I can't believe this is your first time either. I hope you continue this, as you seem to have a real gift for storytelling.
