Sarah, This is a beautiful story. Your Legolas and Gimli are very well done! You've managed to keep their personalities very true to who they seem to be, and you've allowed them to change in a way that stays in keeping with who they are. Thanks for the wonderful fic. Hope we can count on a new chapter soon??? PLEASE?!?!?!?!?!?

I am normally not one for Legolas/Gimli, unless it is Theresa Green's marvelously funny slash humor. The pairing seems too unlikely to me - what can Legolas possibly see in Gimli? This story, though, is a lovely romance - one certainly senses the desire of Legolas for Gimli, even if one still can't comprehend it. I loved the "archery" lesson, and I thought that Gimli's clueless comments afterward, and Legolas' thoughts and responses, were right on. Nicely done!

great chapter! so much in it, i love especially legolas' attempts to get a compliment from gimli, and the possessive jealousy he shows later, even though they are not lovers yet!
gimli is so in denial! even eowyn can see the elf is smitten, and i'm suandaandalf and aragorn have it figured out too!
legolas wanting to follow gimli to the baths! hah, that would certainly remove all doubts at once!
love this story!

AAAHHHH!!! now the whole story will be here, easy to find whenever i want or need to read it! as if you did not already know, this is my absolute favorite legolas/gimle story (i think of arrows path and return to mirkwood as one story)! i will again promise to reveal nothing about how this story develops! i am just so glad to see it!
to paraphrase that old paul harvey line, now we have the rest of the story! (or at leaast the beginning! technically the rest is in return to mirkwood!lol!)
