This has got to be the first time that I've read Legolas portrayed as such a b*****d! I actually like the originality, really fed up with fics of Legolas being some weakling who pines after Aragorn or gets abused all the time.
Don't know how this is gonna pen out, but it doesn't look too grand at the moment. I guessed that it was Elrohir listening in thshesshes and thought that's it, maybe Elrohir's had enough. Not that Legolas doesn't deserve that, but how in hell is Legolas supposed to atone for his horrendous behaviour? One can forgive, but can one truly forget? I'm afraid that he's permanently sundered Elrohir's love for him. Interested to see how you pen this out....soon hopefully. ^___^

I'm kind of hating Legolas right now.He still hasn't made a decision concerning his "feelings" for Elrohir.Arwen's right.Better tell him soon because it's just giving false hopes to Elrohir.

I can't tell you how dreadfully sick I feel right now. All I can think about is reading Elrohir's death scene with Legolas feeling Elrohir's pain just at the last minute, but of course it's too late to do anything about it then. I hope it doesn't come to that. But I fear that's were its headed.

"He has lived with this for uncounted years and remained whole and steadfast. He has not faded as others would."
Hey Legolas! HINT HINT HINT Reality check time, my dear. Arwen might not know the whole story, but she sure nailed it with that one!

Okay, I can't take it anymore. I want that wretched little fiend to get his butt kicked. Elrohir has seen to the needs of Legolas for far too too too long. That ungrateful little whelp! I have never seen such blatant disregard for another's feelings. Legolas needs to be placed in a position in which he begs for Elrohir's forgiveness or just kill him off and send Elrohir to Valinor to heal. Sorry for the anger explosion but my stomach is hurting from this. By the way, for a story to evoke such emotion, it must be pretty darn good. :):):)

I have never reviewed a story consistently. The most review I've written of one story is one!!! But this really brings me out of lurkdom. I knew it, Arwen would interfere and I can't help but k thk that she made it worst for our princes. Now both Elrohir and Legolas are torn. I say give Legolas a little space so that he could stop lashing out at everybody especially Elrohir. I see him as a wounded animal trapped and feeling like nobody is on his side. Come to think of it, if you go by loyalties, I don't think there is anyone in the story right now (including the readers) WHO IS ON HIS SIDE. But I understand his confusion and to be told by Arwen that he is only reing ing what his heart really feels is also arrogant of Arwen. Even if she were right, at this point she should havehave pre-empted Legolas as he was honest enough in saying that he does not know what to do about the situation. Evidy, hy, he decides to "end it now" after talking to Arwen. Wow, pure torment, but of course, there is always hope and I know at the end of this story, I would have a happy heart...I hope. ;)

Perhaps its best that Legolas breaks off with Elrohir. I cannot bear to see him use Elrohir anymore. He desires Elrohir and yet demeans what Elrohir is and had done for him all these centuries. As much as it will hurt Elrohir, it's better to have a clean break rather than to having a wavering Legolas. A Legolas who strikes out and hurts Elrohir's heart, in order to guard his own heart *sigh* I doubt that you will go that direction but I am seriously sick of Legolas's behaviour. My heart really aches for Elrohir.

Oh! No! I really hope Legolas can realize how much he really cares for Elrohir very soon.
