You're driving me INSANE!!! Well, more so than I already am that is. The last few chapters I've ended with my typical "Ahh!" Needless to say you've captured my intrest and refuse to let go.
When are you going to have everyone figure out whether or not Erestor is lying about Thranduil being his child's...other...father? I've got my suspicions but I won't voice them aloud until I know for sure.
I like Glorfindel and Elladan. I'm glad it's him that's being nice. Of the twins I like him better. And I don't usually read stories about Erestor but this one I've been keeping up with. I'm not too happy with everyone else though. Can't wait to see their reactions in the end.
Anyway, please update soon. I REALLY want to know where you're going with this.

sooo, it looks like Viiresse might have hired Belgor to further discredit poor, poor Erestor and save her crafamifamily. What about the kid's green eyes? Doesn't that point to Thranduil? Is anyone paying attention in Imladris? is Erestor ever gonna make it thru a chappie without pain? come on, get Erestor and Glorfindel together already!

Ouch. Tough crowd... I read the other reviews you got for this chapter and... ouch.
Well, let me start off by saying this chapter was not as bad as any of those other reviews would have you believe. Though, they do have some points which I shall fairly go through and remark on myself.
1. Yes. The suddenly revalation of Thranduil possibly being the rapist was kind of an odd turn for this point in the story. He either is or isn't the rapist. You're going to have to make up your mind which it is. Though I know you are trying to throw everybody off with wondering who the real rapist is, you can't pull such random switches on us like that. Though, in fairness to you, i have seen much MUCH worse plot twists in other stories that make absolutely no sense. Don't worry. It's not that big of a deal.
2. Whoever said it had a point. You should have developed Glorfindel's sudden switch of feelings on Erestor a little bit more. It was kind of quick without any forewarning to the readers. I understand where he's coming from with the father to Erestor's baby coming forward, but still. It needed something a little bit extra, though I get the feeling you're going to take care of that in later chapters. I just don't think Glorfindel will turn his back on Erestor that quickly without giving him another try. Especially if he went running from Erestor with tears in his eyes. And with him still wondering about the bas grs gren eyes, I'm sure he's going to come back and confront Erestor to try and find out the truth from his own mouth. Which again leads us to... that's right FADING SCENE!!!! ^_^ (Sorry. But i am NOT going to let this drop until you give me a fading scene! ha ha ha... ^_^) *ahem* anyway...
3. Baglor..? Isn't that Tella's husband? Hmm... I need more info on this elf. Did he actually rape Erestor, or (like one of your other reviewers hypothesied) being put up to saying he is the father by Thranduil's wife? Hmm... that would be an interesting plot twist.
4. As someone else mentioned perhaps sometime awhile ago, the plot needs to pick up a little bit. Every chapter so far is just making me more confused and frustrated at wanting to know who the real rapist is. We're finally starting to get to the climax of the story, so things are starting to fall into place a little bit more, but yes. We need to get this moving a little. Either Erestor needs to start fading from grief and Glorfindel bonds with him and we find out who the real rapist, or Erestor starts to fade from grief and Glorfindel bonds with him to save him and we find out who the reapisapist is. (There I go again with the fading thing! ^_^ Sorry... force of habit... *ahem* ^_^)
All in all, it wasn't that bad of a chapter. Seriously. I wouldn't lie to you. Though there were a couple things that could have been elaborated on or tweaked out a bit for plot development. I can't wait to see the next update. Please don't let those bad reviews get to you and you abandon this story. I know I've had bad reviews for other past stories but quite frnakly that's only the readers opinion, and I know by looking at that counted for number of hits that there are a lot of people that are reading and enjoying your story. So please don't take too much of those other reviews to heart.

I must say that I don't understand a damn thing of your chapter...first of all there is no explanation why Glorfindel acts like that, secondly you now say he actually is lying but before you said he wasn't and even had thranduil admitting it, but now u bring I don't know who in and say he was the rapist.
It's stupid. Really, I loved the story but the last chapter sucks

You are SO evil I can’t even n ton to describe it! Leaving off in a place like that! Are you trying to kill me with suspense or something?! But you do know that this new turn of events brings up a whole new possibility.
That’s right! Let’s say it all together! Fading scene! Fading scene! Fading scene! whoop whoop!
*ahem!* Sorry bout that. Got a little bit too carried away again. Anyway, great stuff as usual. I felt so bad for Erestor as he pre preparing to go into the river. It was also kind of neat how you wrote that scene as thought Glorfindel was reading the letter just as Erestor was going into the water. It h ver very movie feel to the whole thing. I liked it. The only thing though, is that in Erestor’s letter he made some comment about his son being sired by a weakling and a liar… Liar… Who the heck actually raped the poor elf?!?!?!?! Is he covering for someone?! I am so out of ideas I no longer know! I mean, so far I’ve pegged the father to be Thranduil, then Legolas (which both were quickly thrown out because of the ‘flash of dark hair’ comment some chapter ago), then Elrond, then Elladan or Elrohir…
I mean come on! Throw me a bone here! Are we ever going to find out? Are there other clues throughout the story that I’ve missed that could somehow point towards the actual rapist? Is it actually somebody who we haven’t been introduced to yet? (though I hope that isn’t the case because then I think that would just ruin the entire tension of the entire story… ) I’m dying to know what happens next! You must hurry with more soon. PLEASE!!
But what about Glorfindel and Erestor? Is there going to finally be a fading scene? (Oh, I hope I hope I hope… ^_^) Those two would really make a cute couple. Remember: fading scene, then bonding. It’ll be a great combination! ^_^
But whatever you ultimately do do, I’m sure it will be exciteYou You know though, I’m already starting to wonder how this is ultimately going to end. Once we finally do find out who the rapist is, what’s going to happen to Erestor? I mean, he did lie there, but was it for some unknown reason that Elrond may finally realize how badly he treated his councilor and give Erestor his old job back (especially since Figwit ain’t exactly doing that great of a job… I’m surprised Imladris hasn’t fallen into financial or politic chaos yet…) Or will Erestor be banned and Glorfndel go with him to some other place?
Oh… so many possibilities. I do hope you hurry with more soon, because you KNOW I’m dying to read more. Till next time.

God damn it!!! I just wrote this whole long review, but the @&%$@ site lost it when I went to add it! Damn it! Sometimes I really hate technology!!!
*deep breath* Sorry. Had to vent there.
Anyway, I'm going to try and resummerize everything I wrote before.
So first off, wow. Great chapter, as always. Though the birth actually went much easier than I was kind of expecting. Though I'm surestorstor would disagree with me there! :P I couldn't help but like Celeborn in this; you know, sticking beside Erestor and coaching him through the whole thing while Elrond was still being such a prick. And Glorfindel! That was so sweet! He seriously just earned major points in my book for this latest chapter! And the baby!!!! Awwww!!! That broke my little heart when Erestor wouldn't even look at him! I know he blames the baby for how his life is going right now, but please please please please don't let him stay like that. That would just be terrible. That poor innocent little baby needs a loving parent. (At least Glorfindel seemed to take a shine to him... that was SO cute!!!! Made my little heart melt ^_^) I know I've begged and pleaded before, but please don't let Erestor hate his baby. I seriously believe that once Erestor accepts him as his son, he'll become something like Erestor's last little light in his world of darkness right now, someone who needs and depends on him for his love. I think that's one of Erestor biggest problems right now. He ks nks no one needs him and that no one can love him and that he has no one else that does loves him (or at least he thinks no one love him *cough cough GLORFINDEL cough cough!!) and who better could be give his love to and receive so much unconditional love from than his own son? By the way, what are you going to name the baby? Maybe (once Erestor finally accepts him as his son) something like 'last hope' or 'shining light' (in elvish of course!) or some other name like that that has such allegorical connotations.
So Elrond's still going banish Erestor and the baby? He is such a prick! I'm sorry, there's just no other word for him! Ok ok I had some minor issues with my computer the late time you updated, so there was a little delay in my reviewing and once I was going to ou already updated! So... I guess that's good for me. But I still thought you deserved a reviewfor the last one I promised I'd review but... didn't...
So anyway, wow, as always. Great chapter.
