More, soon, please!!!! I love this characterization of Erestor and Elrond, and Glorfindel has to be my favorite elf in all of Arda. You're crafting a wonderful story here and I really want to know if Thranduil is guilty, even though, I suspect he is. Update soon!

Now that was a great chapter. I'm glad Glorfindel is sticking up for Erestor. It's about time somebody did. I'm enjoying your story so far, despite the emotional stress poor Erestor has to suffer through.... Keep up the good work!

Thanks all of you for your wonderful reviews. And In answer to your questions in no particular order.

1) Elrond will not admitt Ert Erestor is acting funny because that would mean that there is a chance that Erestor is telling the truth.

2)I have written a bit about Erestor's childhood and he is younger than Elrond though it isn't clearly stated (but he's not too young). He was raised in Lothlorien and that is why he would go back their, besides the obvious reason why he wouldn't go back to

3) Glorfindel makes his appearance in chapt 4 :D

4) Elrond would banish Erestor and his child to protect thranduil

5) Galadriel will be able to see the truth whatever that is, but its not like she's always watching everyone. Someone will have to call her first. ;)

You know, Erestor is not acting normally as one might think who suppose to have a lover or even a one time fling. Something is not quite right with this picture, and Elrond, my word. He is being a nasty jeboutbout this. I can't believe that he removed Erestor from his position as Chief Advisor. Well, serves him right for now having to deal with Figwit.

Poor Erestor, having to deal with Elrond as his healer. If Elrond took a closer look, he would realize that Erestor's behavior is a bit off if not strange.

I'm sure that if Erestor was to go to the Golden Woohat hat Galadriel and Celeborn would know the truth. Did Elrond ever considered that? Probably not. Let's not forget that the half-Elf has the ability to foresee the future. Maybe he can get a peek at 'what' happen.

Poor poor erestor, I admit I think he's not lying he seems very believable, please continue. I'm also wondering about Erestor's age as well now, just how old is he? (be ironic if Elrond's advisior is a youth or reletivly young and no one realised) so unfair he's the subject of gossip and seen as heartless whlist he's dying inside and shy because of all his suffering. I admit I am hoping that Erestor was raped as it is unbeliveblely wrong to lie about such a thing and from you dipiction I don't think Erestor is like t Als Also don't like Thrandil in this, get the feeling he was using Elrond and Elrond never realised, be interesting to see how the twins do in Mirkwood. Then we have whatever reaction Thrandil will have when he finds out, meep difficult one. Also wondering about Glofindel. love your characterisations anyway, esspecially Erestor and Elrond. Poor poor Erestor plus Elronds anger understandable if he so love's Thrandil I guess but he was so so so mean to Erestor *cries, painful*. About Lorine, if the Lady of the Goldenwoods can read minds surly she can detect deciete and will realise Erestor's innocence I hope. Also though it may seem i a i always wonder about Erestor's early life and parents and so on, linking in with the age thing got me curious. anyway please please update soon, need someone to believe and support erestor *hopes* and also want elrod to feel guilty :)

Poor Erestor!Elrond's such a jerk!If he was a true friend to Erestor,why would it bother him as to the sire of the child?

Great story idea! Like it very much. So keep the chapters coming, ehem, please :-)! I won't join in the voices crying poor Erestor until it is clear if he was raped or if he only pretended. Anyway I'm somebody who would say to him 'deal with it' *eg*. But of course I would like everything to turn out just happy.
