I just stumbled across this story on LoM last night, and became so enchanted by it that i stayed up well past midnight to finish reading it all. My frequent yawns today are well worth it, for it was a great story. I loved the characterizations, the very believable emotional issues the characters had to deal with, the delightful, unusual pairing--all of it. I'm looking forward to reading the sequel, but it looks as if aff may have corrupted it when the site had its nervous breakdown awhile ago? The chapters aren't really showing up. Are any chapters of the story archived anywhere else? Thanks so much for sharing your hard work and talent with we readers!

I was just tootling along and I saw this rec'd by Eresse and figured, aw hell, since she is a picky author, this should be good. I was SO right. OMG this is so incredible! I absolutely loved it and was just dying for more!! Wonderful!! I am reading the sequel and I can already tell that I shall be begging for that as well...evil brat. Gah wonderful!!

Ouch! It's not the finest manner for his parentsleavleave without a word! At least Gildor was friendly enough.
But Erestor the creep? I wonder what Lindir would say to that.

This angsty story was quite good. The scene where they were speaking about baby steps and then the next scene having sex was a bit confusing to me. They bonded during the sex? Was this act done directly after speaking? Or some time after taking baby steps with Filigwi learning to open up and trust Elladan? It would seem wiser to wait to bind where both were more secure in their relationship.

I'm happy to see that Filigwi has accomplish his goal of being an apothcary and confident in his skills and knowledge as shown in the epilogue with Frodo. The pairing of Filigwi and Elladan was great. I look forward to seeing a sequel with Elrohir and any other stories that you may write.

Did Filigwi give himself to Elladan that night because he was fearful of losing him to another if he did not? I was confused by the Twins' conversation at the end of chapter three. Is Elladan not sleeping well? Was that the point? I love how tender and caring Elladan's behaviour is towards Filigwi. Looking forward to your next update!

Elladan with his kind and compassionate heart seems so right for Filigwi. Filigwi's fear of abandonment, insecurities, and lack of feeling loved is so real and so very sad. And now with Elladan leaving, he will be even more lonely and miserable. I hope he finds another elf to befriend him...hint, hint, please. His loneliness and alienation is breaking my heart. Update, soon please!
