I wanted to tell you that I enjoyed this story very much. Such unique original characters and neat twists to fill in some of the holes in the original. Was curious though, as to why you didn't choose to use the cousin relationship between the Twins and Syshae, nor offer another ancestry for them to explain it away. Thanks for sharing your work.

Just discovered your story, and quite liked it.
One thing though. While I do believe rapists are among the lowest scum on earth and should be locked away for good, what the Elves did to Boromir was simply disgusting: cutting his tongue, crippling him, emasculating him, giving him drugs to insure he will suffer fully to the end and abandoning him to the orcs: that's called TORTURE. It's revolting. If you have death penalty for rapists, then do so cleanly. They behaved like Orcs - no, worse than Orcs, because they're supposed to be enlightened beings. I'm sorry, but I was really shocked.
And they acted so smug about it, no questioning. Would Boromir have done what he did if there had not been the Ring? They casually brush away the question, but excuse me! That is a helluva important question! Lust is was thing, acting on it another. We're talking about a life here, and the Ring that even tempts Galadriel, who is hundred of times older than Boromir. I was ready to kick some Elven knees, beginning with Legolas' who really annoyed me in that chapter.

Oh, WOW! That truly was a grest and imaginitive story. I'm so glad Leggy was able to bond with both of them.
Seems a little unfair that one of the Maia had to be treated as Syshae (wonderful name, by the way), was at the hand of Thranduil. So sad.
And I really liked hte bit with Boromir and how although it was he acting under the power of the ring, there was still some part of him that was left and was grateful for the mercy Syshae gave him by cutting off his balls and leaving him to die. That was such a well-writeen moment. As was the whole story.
And I'm so glad Syshae was not the last of his people. Though I almost cried when Pallas died, that was so sad. The first Elfling Syshae healed yet could not save.... Tragic.
Anyway, HOORAY! for a happy ending, and I enjoyed every moment of this entire story. Thankyou for sharing it,
Luv Mawgy

*sighs* thank you for having this already written and not making up wait to be able to read the rest of it. I really enjoyed this story, and stand by my first impression. It is stunning. Of course, now you have to write more :) You've left me wondering what happened in a few places, like Legolas confronting his father to learn of what happened. I don't suppose you have any more fics planned?

I enjoyed reading your fascinating story very much. Syshae is a very unique character. Interesting AU about Boromir's rape of Syshae and being castrated and left to die by orcs etc. Their three-way relationship along with their love and passion for each other was nicely detailed.
Although the depiction of their internal relationships is very important, I would have liked to see more interaction by the three with others, such as a confrontation with Thranduil, learning more about what happen to Mirkwood later, etc. Thanks for updating your entire story so quickly. I hope to see more stories by you.
