Oh, please please please continue, this was soooo good, I really want to be able to read more. The way you described Gwahir in both eagle and human-ish form was so amazing! I could practically see him, and this is such a horrible place to leave a reader off at!

Hi. You have the potential for a very interesting story. I hope you plan to continue as I'd be very interested in what you do with it. One question, though, how old is Legolas? He seems to be refered as an "elfling" a few times -- has he reached his majority yet? Is he ready to give what Gwahir seems to be asking for? Hope to see another chapter!
