Shanastay is right about one thing - there are too few decent het writers. Or even slash writers, for that matter, in this particular fandom. Seems the overwhelming majority are thirteen-year-olds doing the Mary Sue thing. I've read the beginnings of a few fics today thate mae made me physically ill! So I can certainly understand the impulse, when one comes across a good wr, to, to beg for the kind of stories one prefers.

I was looking for Haldir fic, and ended up reading this, because the writing was like a balm on my eyes after the horrors of those earlier reading experiences. :D

Dude. I love the way you've mixed the two verses. Makes it considerably easier to suspend disbelief. Hell, everything is good. Story, characterisation, structure, dialogue... you name it. There are no distractions.

So... you got any Haldir fic, maybe? :)

I am NOT offended by slash. I do prefer het but also I appreciate a well-written slash story as yours is. I can recognize good writing when I see it. One can still harbor the wish that a talented author would choose to write something that is a step away from the norm. There is a serious shortage of good het writers, so you'll have to excuse my plea. I AM enjoying your story as I love inventive BtVS/LotR crossovers. I expectantly await more. And btw, I Do firmly believe in the "don't like it, don't read it" advice. I shell it out in my fics on a regular basis. You'll just have to excuse me for getting excited. Post more soon.
