Oh wow, I really loved this story. The characters were well written and very believable. It was so sad though! I need to go find some happy :)

This was a great story, although my view of Giles shall be forever tainted. I really loved it and you wrote it fabulously. It's officially become one of my top favorite cross-over fics. Great job.

At first I wasn't going to read it (A 'Buffy/LotR' cross-over??), but my love of both fandoms got the better of me, and here I am 45 minutes later. The plot was original and beautifully written; you did a remarkable job of staying true to the spirit of the characters. The love scene between Legolas and Giles was one of the best i've read, and so heartbreaking to know that only Giles will remember (although I think that some part of Legolas will too). The last chapter when Legolas is saying goodbye is what pushed me over; tears still fill my eyes. Bravo- I look forward to reading more of your work!

Such beautiful, poetic language, mixed in with a genuine respect for both BtVS and LoTR, plus such realistic romance... I loved it. Your work brings together two otherwise unmixable subjects, and in some places reads like a Buffy episode. It was truly a treasure to read this. I thank you.

What an interesting idea for a crossover. Please, you can't stop there! Finish writing. I just have to find out how it ends
