Another beautifully written chapter! When will Elrond and Celebrian come to their senses? Will the twins ever give their Ada a good kick in the shins? Will Celeborn be forced to strip his daughter and son-in-law naked and lock them in a closet together? Heehee! ^_^

This is just wonderful. Moving, frustrating and touching all at once. The twins are adorable and I'm really feeling for the poor little mites, they're bound to be ated ted by all this. The argument was depressingly great and little references to Elrond's past have me squng ing in delight.

This story just keeps getting better and better.
While I wish for their happiness, I cannot avoid hoping they'll only realize their love when it's too late.

A part of me wants to hug Elrond and take away the pain, but a larger part of me wants to beat him over the head. This makes me hurt for them both, but what can I say? I'm a Celebrian partisan.

Once again, you've managed the nearly-impossible (to my mind) feat of making this outrageous situation utterly plausible. But of course, with each new gut-wrenching chapter, the pressure just keeps on increasing...I suppose it'll be a long time coming, but the payoff at the end has better be something extra-special! *g*

Yoow, ow, when you first floated the idea for this story, I didn't really think that you could carry it off. I mean, how could these two people be so darn mistaken about each others' feelings?

Now, I freely admit that I was wrong in that supposition. As Aragorn said, "Now we might cry, 'A plague upon the stiff necks of the Elves!'"

I seriously hope you are not planning on dragging this out for much longer -- I am still in danger of exploding!

Terrific writing -- I reallye the the way that you do transitions, setting the scene before you focus on the characters. Excellent, excellent stuff!

This story is such an angsty good time! The tension in the first two chapters is so good, the way they are kind of circling each other.
Honestly, I am just dying to know when they will both realise the truth! They must know that they couldn't have conceived children if their feelings weren't genuine, sniff. And the letter is such an evil device, I'm waiting for the moment when Celebrian finds it.
