I've finally gotten around to reading this! It's... magnificent! Well deserving of all its reviews, and more! It's so well written - you write smut so damn well, but the emotional depth of this story is incredible. *sighs* I'm so stressed out by it all...and so addicted! I promise to review more regularly in the future but for now, all I want to say is... WOW!

This chapter is so sad!
It's a pity that Elrond and Celebrían aren't able to see how much they love each other.
I'm really curious to see how you'll get them to conceive Arwen in this situation.

*bawls* Every chapter ending's a cliffhanger. Poor Elrond, to punish himself through torments of memory. And Celebrian..it just seems to dastardly futile at times, in fact, at the rate you are going, it does look like it's going to be futile. We can only wait and hope..and of course..that's part of the addiction to this story...

This is wonderfully sad and tragic. But I wonder if Elrond ever speculated on who her lover is, or is he too noble an elf to think such thoughts?

What can I say except "charming"?! I love this story- it's so wonderful. I only hope that they realize t aff affections in time for Arwen to be conceived out of their love for each other instead of just "an accident" or "duty." That would be terrible... Anyway, I loved the story Elrond told. They way you wrote it, it was easier to see in my mind Elrond as a young father with children. I know he had to have been a father to young ones at one point, but all you see and read in the original story/movie are his children grown. It's a wonderful, intimate side of Elrond that you have captured nicely. Keep updating- I check several times a day!

alright you. *stomps foot* i DEMAND a happy ending! i'm tired of having my heart stop as they ALMOST confess their love--- and then they don't. *wails* I WANT A HAPPY CHAPTER!!!

by the way, i thought you did a fantastic job describing the Marshes. Very heart-wrenching.

The love scene was so sweet and so...fleeting. It just makes what comes after that much harder to bear...
There was a lump in my chest which kept on rising while I was reading this...I think I'll go weep now.
