I have to say that that was a very good story. Very well written. And it didnt have that happily ever after feel to it but it was still a very good ending.

Hey! I didn't know you two were over here at AFF! Finally got around to putting up some rec. reading, do a search, and up pop you two!
To anyone just starting out and reading these stories (or author), hope you'll love them as much as I do. Esp. Scenes from a Life.

This was quite possibly the best Haldir/OFC I have ever read. It was powerful and poignent. Eahild was well developed and deep. I laughed and teared up throught he story of a woman that made her own rules, lived laughed and loved well. It is only appropriate that Haldir was there at the end of her journey. I hope he has her quilt. I think more of us should take this story to heart. Yes I know it's fiction and yes I realize that elves are mythical (but maybe they are just beyond our sight) but the principles should not be ignored. Live as if you could die tomorrow, love like you'll never be hurt, laugh even when you feel like it and dance like no one is watching.
Great story. Truly inspired and inspiring. Good on you!

What a lovely story. Thanks for the hanky warning for the last chapter. We knew it had to happen but I was happy for her that she could end it with the wonderful, beautiful Haldir.

Well that was truly beautiful. I was wondering where you were going with this one.. how many chapters and such. Im sad to see it end.. is this truly the end or is there an epilogue or something when her other beloved elves find out about her death? *puppy dog eyes* PLeaseeeeee.... I bet Rumil spent DAYS crying... he's always the soft hearted one. Bless him...

Thank you again for such a wonderful fic and I look forward to more!

God bless,

What, no Elrond action? How could she have everyone but the divine Elrond? Seriously, this is great fun, and also has some good points about women and the right to say 'no'. I really envy the heroine, though I wasn't too happy about the slap. She wants to make her feelings known about it,it cit could turn into something worse... (she says, sagely).

You write very well, and each sex scene does seem different, which is rare in these things. I'll look forward to reading more.
