Luff it, luff it, luff it! You're characterisation is wonderful - I've fallen in love with Glorfindel all over again after reading that! Such a busybody, but so /alive/! And your Erestor - a complete nutcase, but the sweetest, most huggable nutcase I've ever seen. You'd better make sure he lets Glorfindel give him the love he's been denying himself all these years. The poor thing, he seems so sad and broken. He needs a bouncy Balrog Slayer to fix him.

You'd better write more, or I will personally hit you over the head withegetegetable marrow, understood?! I will go to great lengths to ensure this story gets finished (although I have no idea as yet what lengths those might be).

You also succeeded in naming several of my favourite authors of all time as your inspirations. So three cheers for you and three cheers for this fic; hip hip, hooray! etc., etc.

This was a wonderfully sweet chapter. I love the way you write the twins with two very distictive personalities. And I do hope that Glorfindel doesn't give up on Erestor. :o)

Rather intriguing. Does Erestor's last comment mean he's going to help Glorfindel? I hope, I hope. He's just a master at self-castigation, isn't he?

Interesting part, I loved the imagery of the scene.

I am enjoying this story immensely. I'm fascinated with how complex Erestor is. I hope Glorfindel finds the courage and stamina to keep at it. I'm feeling extremely sorry for Ecthelion, btw, what a horribate ate for an Elf! And such a young one, poor thing... I'm curious as to how the fire got sta tho though. Oh, and I hope Elrond doesn't wallow in guilt for too long - it's not his fault he wasn't standing outside the smithy right when the fire broke out.

Is there ANY joy in Erestor's life? He doesn't seem to really take pleasure in anything - and admiring the full moon doesn't realy count, in my opinion.

Not a good start to anything. I am sure one thing that Glorfindel has learned in a long warrior's life is not to give up. Erestor will be hard to deal with but I am sure in the final say he will be worth it.
I liked the scene where Erestor proved he still had good reflexes. I think once elves learned skills it would be like riding a bicycle for a human. Always there to be used.
I look forward to more of this little dance. giggle

Glrofindel enjoying the beauty of the gardens of Imladris. Not a sight you see every day.
Here is another interesting sight. Erestor gardening. I must say this surprises me. He seems almost robot like in the garden.
A dinner engagement. Not too romantic, yet.
Now we see past the facade. The sight of lovers has dredged up a memory of Maglor for Erestor. This is an interesting match. It may not just be the kinslayinghis his mind all these millenia.
Oh he lets the warmth fade awaNo lNo love in his life now. Leave the lovers to their privacy and he will embrace his work.
Let's see Glorfindel break down these walls and get Erestor back to life. This is great. giggle
