Heh. Simply because you mentioned that you were doing the same sort of crazy-style disclaimers in your review, I came and checked out the disclaimers for this story. Great fun, all nd..nd...*nodnods*
(I would actually read the story, and not just the disclaimers, but AU's aren't really my cup of tea, and I have a limited amount of time on the computer at the moment due to parents)
So, yeah. Carry on with the insane disclaimers...*skims over the first chapter* And the good writing...hm. Maybe I shall read this...

good chapter. Now I wish you would up date twisted again. Want to know what happened between Legolas, Janessa, and Haldir. *Pouts* That's amazing how Legolas and Haldir can sense when Janessa are Shar are in destress. Talk about an total improvement fron, tn, too bad they were born way before man. lol Man, wish men were like that. They need serious homing devices sometimes. Why couldn't they come with one? lol I like that scene with the ears. Very cute. Took me to minute to catch on. Vulcan ears, haven't heard of that one before...then again I was never into star trek too much. :)

interesting. I've never been around a person after they've been raped. It's a sad thing though I bet. I like how when you wrote this chapter, you gave a reason why E moved awaom oom others touch, without saying more than needed, like the Haldir and Shar's thoughts. Or perhaps it was shar only. Everything is described very well. Man, I was so waiting for the teen to get wacked in the head, and then bam! Elena wacks her. lol :)

Ok...so I find myself here once again...reviewing the bloody disclaimers. LOL I wouldn't except...they're just so damned good! I haven't laughed so hard in a very long time. Thanks for this Shana! You have once again blown me away.

I'm an addict! Love the humor, the detail, the "disclaimers", the human/elfen touch. More, please!

Poor Erestor. Glad he has Shar and Hal to comfort him. Intrigued with where the 2nd part is going. Yet another reason to 'stay tuned'
A+ as usual

First things first. Poor E. Who could do such a thing? *cleans gun and looks around for sharp objects* Fear not people....We will be exacting revenge on his behalf. You know that, right? This was a painful chapter to read, but absolutely necessary to the story to understand what horrors he was subjected to.
Second: In spite of the heat here in AZ, I now have goosebumps nearly head to toe after reading the second half of Torment in its entirety. It gives me the much-needed resolve to survive the next few months here. I could not have put this into words any better myself. Beautifully written. Perfect lyrics....lwaylways. My nerves of steel, spine of Jell-O self is waiting not-so patiently to make my exit and.....believe me when I say that likely this song will be blaring on my stereo on repeat when I do leave.
MUSH WARNING: I thank you for being a friend and listening through all this crap. Its good to see it inspire such a wonderful story with enormous potential for offshoots. The lyrics you suggest are, as usual, right on the money!!!!
I seriously cannot wait until the next update! You are foretelling my future, so to speak.

Poor Erestor! And, somehow, I don't think we've been told all of what happened to him. If Tia is busy, you just send that poor Elf my way. I'll take him in. *S* Hmm...maybe that didn't sound *quite* right. I'll take care of him! Wait...that wasn't right either. I'll make it all better! Oh, hell. LOL All of those sound almost sexual and that's NOT what I meant! Erestor always did bring out the "mommy" instincts in me. He always makes me want to tuck him in bed and feed him chicken soup.
