I stand by my previous assertion: Legolas IS jealous indeed if he feels uncomfortable about the idea of Elrohir being with another Ellith! It's so distressing that Elrohir doesn't seem to recognize this. Eë hië his confession to Elladan was just heartbreaking, due to large measure (for me anyway) because it was so restrained, so *warrior* like. I loved it when he told Elladan that he didn’t want even his pity. Now I’m worried though. What Elladan says about leaving Middle Earth for Valinor makes sense; after all their errantry the peace of Valinor may not hold much appeal. Elrohir has told Legolas that love is what he feels would sway him to choose immortality but I fear love is also what could make him choose to remain in Middle Earth as a mortal: would you want to watch your hearts love marry another? Surely he *must* be thinking that although Legolas has vowed not to give his heart to another, Valinor may change that resolve.

I’ve also been wondering what Legolas' reaction would be should Elrohir choose not to sail? I have the strangest feeling that he would fade. Obviously he didn't when his mother died, but he had Elrohir to help him then didn't he? And we are taking about his ‘heart’s brother’. Ok I know this is all speculation but the fact that I am thinking such dark thoughts means that for me you have truly captured the heartbreak that is unrequited love because, right now, I *don't* get the feeling that all will be right in the end, which I find all the more amazincauscause I KNOW they get together.

I know I'm neglecting Elladan and Nimeithel in this review - sorry 'bout that! I am certainly enjoying the progression of their relationship, I’m just enjoying being upset of Elrohir and Legolas more!

Golodh is the Sindarin term for Noldo and Gelydh is its plural meaning Noldor. I always include a glossary at the bottom of each section any elvish s uss used in the story. Hope this helps you.

Does my mind forsee a double wedding in the future?? I hope Nimeithel takes matters into her own hands, not only with Elladan, but her (blind) big brother as well. He loves Ro but doesn't even realize it himself! What will it take to make him see?
I LOVE the fast updates -- thanks for not makingwaitwait weeks or even months for the next chapter. This is one of my favorite fics right now. I can't wait for Ellado uno unleash his feelings for Nimeithel.

Ah Legolas, blind, blind, blind! I couldn't help but be really saddened for Elrohir at Legolas' rash statement about never giving his heart. Silly Elf, how 'bout you think about *why* you couldn't bear to lose Elrohir you git! I find it actually a bit annoying that he *still* doesn't realise that he has indeed given his heart away. The fact that Legolas is worrying about something happening to Elrohir that *he* cannot prevent is the thin edge of the wedge really isn't it? I can understand his reluctance, but I fear the only thing that will really open eye eyes to how he *really* feel about Elrohir IS for something terrible to happen to him. Okay, that was a depressing thought! Well my comfort is that Nimeithel seems to have a good handle on her feelings (and *she* also experienced first hand the death of her mother) and doesn't seem the least backward in telling her siblings when to get their heads outtheitheir...er... you get my drift! Eressë, I think perhaps you need to post another chapter. Thanks.

Marie :-)
