Elrohir is twitterpated, preoccupied, oblivious, mooning around Imladris, leaving Arwen in the dark. No sister iing ing to put up with that! So she takes him unawares. Seasoned warrior as he is. My oh my. I loved the want-wit comment. Especially after having been out for lunch when the not very nice advisor commented on wood elves.

So Arwen knew all along even if no one else did. Women always seem to know these things. I'm a woman and seldom do but then I really don't care that much. Arwen does. But Elrohir tells her he is doomed to heartbreak if he truly loves Legolas. Sigh. Such uncertainty and here Arwen was so happy about Legolas becoming her law-brother. At least they have each other. I am so glad they don't know what is in store for her down the road. I ly ely enjoyed the Peredhil moment there. It showed how much they love each other and how they cling to each other to help get through life's barriers.

That was great, having Legolas staring down all the warriors in training. Poor elves. He really put them on the hot seat and didn't even realize. Only when he thinks of Elrohir does he get that funny fluttery feeling in the pit of his stomach. This elf needs to wake up and smell the Middle Earth equivalent of coffe here. Yep Legolas Thranduilion, Prince of Mirkwood is twitterpated too. He has all the symptons. At least Elrohir knows what he wants. The prince is going to have to do some real soul searching here to get to a peaceful place again.

Ah Nim - Sisters. You just can't keep anything from them can you? Frist Sirgon and now Elrohir. How did she figure all this out? Nana told her. I am glad that Nana had the courage to talk about the ancient path. I don't think Ada fulfilled his function as Adar that good. He probably felt if they talked about IT then maybe Legolas would be drawn to that way of life.

His wiser younger sister has the answer to why Legolas has these feelings for Elrohir yet not for other ellon or even Elladan. Once your heart has decided for an elf that is it. Legolas has a long way to go before he reaches acceptance of that train of thought. Would Nim accept? She would embrace the truth, not fight it. She is truly brave.

Las has has a real problem with love not just affairs. He cannot see the bliss that love brings only the heartache.

I loved the last paragraph and agree with Nim that Legolas is as stubborn as a dwarf. Smirk. giggle

That was so sweet. I hope Elrohir gets what he desires. And LEgolas wakes up and stops being so darn stubborn. |^_^|

Well I can't say that I'm not impaitent for them both to just get over themselves and realise that they *are* in love with one another, but that being said, I do agree with your assessment of elves taking this whole love business slowly. And we are talking about changing one's entire viewpoint on the idea of love, so I guess it's only right for it to take some time. Still...! I'm really, *really* glad that we have so many parts of this wonderful story to look forward to. THANKS so much for posting them here.

Looks like neither one of them can admit to themselves how they truely feel about the other. I wonder how long it's going to take them, first to admit it to themself, and then to each other!
Love this story. Can't wait for the next part.

That was an excellent presentation of the aftermath of their coupling. Although I generally find little sisters a pain, they can be rather useful at times. I love how you have writen Legolas and Elrohir, and I hope that you do not cause them undue angst. This was such an emotional chapter, capturing both Legolas' and Elrohir's uncertainty.
