I liked the thought of Elrond's thoughts returning to Legolas as though they were on a leash. I have always pictured the bonding that way. Two tethered together so that both sense the other. That includes both good and bad.
Each one has been fading and only the king didn't notice. Both Glorfindel and nd hnd had those around them who watch them so carefully that they could see it. I think Thranduil has a lot on his plat to worry about.
Well good. They have water and are being rescued. The elves need to be very careful because we can do a lot of damage trying to move a rockslide. They needs dwarv You You can grumble about elves all you want but when it comes to rocks, tunnels and stone they are the best. giggle

Yeah, thanks for the post. I have read it, but with uni, I've been too busy to reply to it, or indeed, post your picture there. But, are you saying you *still* don't have it? I've sent it to your e-mail 5 times already! ARGH!!!!!!!!! I might try from my uni e-mail instead of yahoo, see if it reaches you then. And thanks for letting me know about the chapter from Leggy's past, just, again, I've been too busy to even read that. Oh noooo. Thud. The king and prince are trapped in a mine cave in.
Well at least we know why Legolas is being so cranky. He is in pain from the bond that he has formed.
Now get him out of that lousy cave and into the arms of his bondmates. He needs some quality time with them. giggle

YAY ! Finally a new chapter ! Thank you soooo much ! I’m sensing more angst ahead...good :D Finally something to look forward to ! Angst and hurt always mean „nice scenes” are somewhere out there.
Loved your „while the prince trudged behind, unconsciously forsaking all elven gracefulness at this non-existent hour” part. It sounds like me in the morning. My mum will never forget the time when I’ve hit a closed door thinking it was opened. Oh the shame...
